At the condo, there is golf, tennis, a picnic area, a pool, great place to walk or bike-ride. Nice breeze even in mid-summer, most of the day. There are fishing camps, where you can go out for a day of fishing or an air-boat ride, covered wagon or jeep rides into the ranching areas, animal safaris, quaint, unique small towns (like Historic Sebring Center) to explore.
A Recent Renter told us: 'The best part for me is we can get to all the excitement in a short time, but come back to the peace & quiet of the condo, sit on the lanai or at the pool and watch the golfers, read a book, or cool off in the pool.'
The condo is fully equipped with all the linens, dishes, silverware, small appliances and utensils you need, has a washer and dryer, 2 bedrooms / 2 full baths and a sleep sofa, a supply of books and magazines, DVDs and a few games.
Sebring is about 1 ¼ hours from either coast, and an easy, pleasant day trip to Orlando (Disney World, Circus World, etc.). Busch Gardens and Tampa are about 1 ½ hours away to the north-west. 30 minutes to Lego Land, and right down the street from the condo is a beautiful state park – Hammock State Park (museum, wooden walkway throughout, or a tram if you make a reservation for it, lush rain-forest type areas, birds, animals, crocodiles, alligators you can see close-up but not dangerously; Gatorama is not far either.

We booked the condo based on the pictures and the glowing description. When we got there we were very disappointed. The furniture and carpets are stained and worn. The place smells strongly of mold and mildew – we had to go out and buy an air purifier to make it livable. The Internet and Cable TV were not activated; the owners left a note saying there was nothing they could do about it; so we spent a week without them. The owners did not return our calls for many days, when they did they offered us a $50 refund. The property is not recommended.

Owner response: This is the first negative post we have ever had. When these guests called, I was surprised to hear they had complaints, except for the cable problem. Due to a change in Comcasts set-up methods, the cable company could not hook up the system in time for these guests, and we had no notice of the until the day before they arrived when we checked to see why the cable wasn't set up yet. There's no other cable company and our association does not allow satellite dishes, so, as much as we tried, there truly was nothing we could do. Still we felt badly about it and that's why we gave them a rebate. Nothing we did or said made them happy. Yet they stayed for the full time of their rental. When they left, the unit was cleaned again by the same people. The next guests - returning guests- told us how much they love renting this same condo from us each year- because we are so nice and it's always so clean! We try hard to provide a good experience for our guests and based in what most guests tell us, we succeed. But now we know- you can't please everyone. And we are sorry that that is the case.

From an email we got: "My wife and I stayed at the condo last June and had a great time. I golfed every morning, and was back to the condo in time to hop in the pool before lunch. It was close enough to everything that day trips were a breeze and we look forward to coming back next year."

Coming from Massachusetts it gets cold here in the winter, and we are finally at a plac ein our lives where we can take some time away from out business and work, and enjoy ourselves. We ahve friend sin the area who live here year round in addition to our snow bird friends, so not matter when we come there are alwasy friendly faces to welcome us.

Gail loves to sit on the lani & at the pool and read a book. I like riding both our bikes, and my motorcyle. Our guests often come for the golf, but enjoy all the other great things to do close by.
