Hihimanu Estate is a luxurious 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath estate and has an expansive 7,514 square feet of living space on over 2 lushly landscaped acres with ocean and mountain views. This includes over 4,000 sq ft of covered and furnished lanais made of the exotic Epay wood, and boasts over a half dozen hammocks. The lovely home is exquisitely detailed and furnished for your ultimate comfort and sense of well being.

This estate is perfect for entertaining. The generous lanai in the back has a barbeque grill and hot tub which seats 6 adults very comfortably. Its vast size is pleasant for outside dining and/or gathering in the sitting area. Leading out from this lanai is a tropical lagoon style swimming pool that is nestled among mature tropical palms, fruit trees, and beautiful flower bushes.

View Hanalei's majestic mountains and the world famous Hanalei Bay in the distance from the partially covered upstairs lanai and watch the vibrant sunsets over Bali Hai. The evening is a great time relax on one of the many hammocks and search for shooting stars and faraway galaxies.

Upstairs the oversized master suite with king bed is complete with a sitting room, walk-in closet and bathroom with jetted tub and separate walk-in shower, and a 67 inch HD television. The other 3 upstairs bedrooms have a king, queen and 2 twin beds. Downstairs offers a one bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom off the den.

The home has 3 separate inside gathering areas. The great room has a 67" flat screen TV. Also, the home features a separate living room and den/office with convertible couch.

The fully equipped gourmet kitchen boasts of an industrial home version Viking gas range/oven, Thermador dishwasher, a large Sub-zero refrigerator, and a 52 bottle wine chiller. There is a comfortable kitchen nook that oversees the hot tub and pool area and a separate Hawaiian style dining room seats up to 10 people.

This home also features many wonderful touches such as Koa cabinetry, hardwood floors, faux-finished walls and fine woodcraft detailing. Although not needed in Hawaii and not used, the presence of a cozy fireplace in the great room sets the mood for a welcoming ambiance. Air conditioning can be accessed at an additional cost but usually not necessary. Please inquire.

Tasteful furnishings, exquisite lighting and fine linens, fine towels and many other custom touches complete this wonderful accommodation for your family and friends.

The bed assignments are 2 Kings, 2 Queens , 2 Twins and one convertible couch. Sleeps 10 people comfortably.

Amenities include Boogie Boards, Surf Boards, Stand Up Paddle Boards, Snorkel Gear, Beach Chairs/Umbrella, Foosball Table, Air Hockey Table, Ping Pong, Volleyball and Badminton and Croquet Sets. We do furnish beach towels for your use.

Hihimanu (pronounced hee-ee-mah-nu) is a Kauai mountain peak located on the north side of the island (and directly across the property). This name also describes the Hawaiian Stingray (Spotted Eagle Ray) for which the mountain peak was named after because of its two peaks that is shaped like a stingray. Hihimanu also has a meaning for lavish, magnificent and elegance which precisely describing this large, private, and lush property.
