This special property is a beautiful home at waters edge with level frontage on Wisconsin's premier wilderness lake. The Chippewa Flowage offers great fishing surrounded by nature's best. New for 2012 is satellite TV and free high speed internet!
It is known for its spectacular natural scenery and excellent fishing. The lake is a world class Muskie Fishery and has bass, perch, sunfish, crappie, pike and walleye. The fall crappie fishing in Moore's Bay is fantastic. It has 233 miles of shoreline (90% undeveloped!) and 200 enchanted islands so your opportunity to explore nature via boat, canoe, kayak or snowmobile is endless.
Wildlife is everywhere whether it is the calming sound of the loon, a deer drinking at water's edge, watching eagles and osprey circle above, or catching a glimpse of a bear, elk or moose.
This is a year-round vacation home with all the amenities. It is beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home including a full kitchen, wood fireplace, washer/dryer, central A/C and big views across Moore's Bay of the Chequamegon National forest from the deck or balcony.
This property comes with an aluminum boat, birch canoe and 2 kayaks for your boating pleasure. If you bring your own boat, there is a convenient boat launch nearby and a private dock with power at the shoreline. There are many restaurants in the area or grill off the deck. Downtown Hayward has many fine restaurants and all the shops on Main Street only 15 minutes away
What about the winter or for the ATV rider? It is located in the heart of Sawyer County's well developed snowmobile and ATV trail system with over 600 miles of groomed snowmobile trails.

We arrived on Thursday and were so happy to see the nice sized wood pile so could enjoy the wood fireplace where we drank our coffee, played cribbage and had great conversations. We really enjoyed the Big Chip and the cozy atmosphere here and almost felt like we knew the owners and the love they have for the cabin and each other. We snow-shoed on the lake, waved to the snowmobilers and saw kids sliding on the bank about 200 yards from the cabin. The Ernest Hemingway books were nice to read and coincedentally brought along the movie, "Love and War" with us so it made us feel like we know him a little better and how his love of fishing if a part of he lives of the owners of this cabin. We truly loved the cabin and will take great memories of these days with us for the rest of our lives. Maybe we will bring our grandchildren here sometime.Did you find this review helpful? Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin. We had alot of fun exploring the islands with the canoe, our boys renamed it Pirate Island. We have enjoyed the beautiful weather, the scenery on the lake, the campfires, the games, the movies and nature walks. We rented a pontoon boat and had a wonderful shore lunch and enjoyed cruising the lake. We look forward to many more trips to the Hayward area in the years to come.Did you find this review helpful? We had a wonderful time here this week. We loved every minute of it. The cabin was very nice and comfy. We boated and fished all over the lake. The bloody marys at Skillys down the road were excellent and the breakfast at Robins Nest was great. We spent our evenings laughing, playing Yahtsee and Pit. Thank you, hope to return next year.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

We have enjoyed out stay here, its a very beautiful place to relax and enjoy everything God has created out in nature. We have seen many loons and eagles. The fishing was great, we caught nice size bluegills and crappies off the dock and had a great fish fry. Thanks againDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

The boys could not have been more excited about fishing and the girls played on the islands for hours. They even named the islands, Ellie and Jacie. We loved breakfast at Norske Nook and enjoyed Fall Fest in Hayward. What a special place you have here.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

This was our honeymoon getaway and what a wonderful placne to do it. The scenery is magnificent and the time away together for the two of us was great. It was fun to go out fishing, canoeing, or walking and coming back to the cabin to cook and spend time by the bonfire or enjoying the view from the upper deck. We would love to come back for our anniversary.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Attention to detail by the Owner/ Property Manager was key to our 5 day stay here. Everything was as advertised on the site. A clean, warm, place on the water. Access to the docks for fishing was great. Access to good fishing waters was great.I was in charge of finding place for an annual fall fishing trip with 3 friends. We were all impressed with this find.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/4
