Three Sisters...where the elk herd roams...

The 3 Sisters condo was quite nice and well furnished and supplied. The view of 3 Sisters Range was a little bit blocked by trees that had grown up, but still plenty visible for good photos. The owner was very helpful with getting us booked in at the last minute. You couldn't ask for a nicer town than Canmore - we started out with one week, and ended up staying for 3! Our favorite thing was driving up the 3 SistersParkway and within 2 miles, finding a herd of about 8-9 elk! They are in about the same area every evening just before dark - one night we found them right on the edge of town. Our only real complaint, or inconvenience, about the condo was that all the living space is on the 3rd floor, which means 3 flights of stairs. If you are seniors, as we are, you might want to consider that climb when making your reservation.
Owner response:Thank you so much for your feedback. Canmore is such a beautiful part of the world, we too love seeing the elk roam around town. Unfortunately we can't change the stairs but can say that once you are up there, no more stairs! and a spectacular view. Our uncle is 85 and was just fine with the stairs but I think it depends on your fitness level and capabilities. My wife and I want to sincerely thank you for renting your beautiful condo to us last week. We really enjoyed staying in Canmore for a couple of nights. Your home is very nicely decorated and in a great location with wonderful running trails.
