The reviews posted by others were entirely accurate descriptions and I echo their comments. It is cozy but perfect for two people. The bed in the loft is a tight squeeze but after bumping our heads on the ceiling a couple of times, we turned the bed and that solved the problem. We were really glad we were outside of Bariloche proper as it was a much busier city than we had expected. The cabin is beautiful and we enjoyed the gardens and being able to live indoors and out. There was also daily housekeeping which made it feel like a vacation. Lastly, I can't say enough about how generous and gracious the owners, Norie and Alec are. We enjoyed their company and deeply appreciated their thoughtfulness.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

My wife and I were looking for a charming place to ourselves for our honeymoon in Argentina. Bariloche was our second stop during the trip and this cabin was the perfect mountain getaway after several busy days in Buenos Aires. The owners are kind, charming people that made us feel very welcome. The views, the quiet, and the fresh air can't be beat. Our favorite part was the authentic wood-burning parrilla which we used multiple nights and were even able to gather fresh herbs from the herb garden situated right behind the cabin. Highly recommended and a price that you can't beat. We'll be back!!!!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 1/2 weeks from late January to February and we had a wonderful time. We had everything we needed in the cozy Casita-the kitchen has all new appliances and a great big fridge, the pristine garden is a wonderful place to sit and work or relax and the internet/satellite TV works very well (which is not always the case down here). My husband and I are tall, so we found sleeping on the futon downstairs preferable to the loft and we enjoyed waking up to the view of the sun rising on the mountain. The owners are wonderfully hospitable and helpful- it was the perfect place to begin our Patagonian adventure!! I do recommend having a rental car- relying on buses and remises (taxis) can be very limiting in an area that has so much to offer. However, the property is close to many of the wonderful hikes off of the Circuito Chico, so if you're here to hike, you can certainly walk or rent bikes nearby.
