  My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights and it was a wonderful experience. I liked coming home from a long day of sight seeing to a homey atmosphere where we could just lounge on a couch and watch TV without the sterility of a hotel. It's clean and nicely styled and furnished. There's a fully equipped kitchen (though bringing your own kitchen essentials is needed, like cooking oil) for most basic culinary needs. The bed was comfortable. And though the bathroom is a little small and a bit older, I can say that's it's nicer than some budget range hotels I've stayed in. Daverle is really a great resource and has aquarium member passes at a discount. The location is a bit isolated as the complex is behind the local community college and tucked into a hill, but I liked it that way. We were so busy that we didn't have time to enjoy the indoor pool. Overall, for the price, it was absolutely worth it to have a temporary home on the beautiful central coast.

  Pros - Nice complex, designated parking space (and usually open spaces even closer), wonderful indoor heated pool not too far from the condo, comfortable bed, very clean, bottle of wine on arrival. The person renting it (Daverle) was very helpful and even let my husband and I use her aquarium guest passes to visit it for the day. Cons - Not enough bath towels (only 2 for week) or toilet paper (only 2 rolls for week). Card was give to pay for use of washers and dryers (located by the pool) but no clothes soap available. A dishwasher but no dish washing soap. Great kitchen but no spices, not even salt or pepper. Internet was wired only and didn't work all the time. (The Internet is part of the cable, and for some reason the cable was down about half the time when we were there.) A couple of other things to note - The water pipes are particularly loud. This is not something that can be helped, but if you are a light sleeper, this would not be the right place to stay. This is really a studio rather than a one bedroom. The bed is up on a raised platform right behind the fold out couch. There are sliders to close in front of the bed, but it is still open on the side. Not a big deal if just a couple (or single), but if there are kids just be aware there is no door for privacy. The location is very convenient to everywhere in Monterey (Fisherman's Wharf, downtown, Aquarium, etc.), but you do need a car to get most places. Most of the places are 2-3 miles from the condo, so a quick drive but a long walk. If you need to know anything about the area, ask Daverle. She knows the area well and can help you find anything you are looking for.

  Hello Jeannie and Johnny -We were very satisfied with our stay at your TATAMI SUITE. Everything was perfect, except for the bath tub though. It was clogged up and the shower curtain was dirty. That was the only draw back. We enjoyed the indoor pool a lot. Your customized bed was a cool idea. thanks for sharing your condo. I will recommend it to my friend, who is thinking of goinbg up to Monterey at the end of August.

  Hi; Already two weeks since we returned to Quebec City and California misses us. We spent magnificent moments during our seventeen day trip in your beautiful state. Visiting Napa/Sonoma, San Francisco, Monterey, Paso Robles and Yosemite was fantastic; We loved living in your very beautiful residences which a part of the success of our adventure with great wines tasted during our-happy hours- and dinners.

  Hello Daverle; My fiance and I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful acomadations at the Footprints By the Bay TATAMI SUITE. We had a great time, and everything was great at the condo.
