Welcome to Lanikai Surf Hale! Just 200m from beautiful Kailua beach!

We are located in the quiet neighborhood of Lanikai, on the windward side of Oahu. Lanikai is just 20 minutes drive from Honolulu and Waikiki and just steps from Kailua beach where you will find 3 miles of the world's most amazing beach. A five minute drive will take you to Kailua town where you will find an assortment of restaurants and shops. The beaches offer kayaking, boogie boarding, surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, snorkeling, and beachcombing. We provide boogie boards, 2 sets of fins, masks and snorkels. Kayak rentals are a 10 minute walk away at Windward WaterSports. The beach is also a great place to watch the sunrise over the ocean and set behind the spectacular Koolau mountains .
If you are interested in fitness, we have 2 beach cruisers and Kailua has many different bike paths. You can walk, jog, or bike all around Kailua! Come and experience the peace and tranquility of our side of the island.
You will stay in a private cottage with it's own front and back entrance. The cottage has a queen bed and a comfy fold out futon. Don't want to eat out every night? Surf Hale has a full kitchen stocked with everything you need to make a home-cooked island meal along with several island cook books to choose your favorite local dish! The bedroom/living area has hardwood floors and plenty of storage for your belongings. Step out to your private lanai and relax or BBQ. The cottage also has wireless internet, fax machine, printer(upon request), hair dryer, iron, coffee maker and a bag of Hawaiian coffee, toaster and a washer dryer is available to use for $3 a load (includes soap & softener). Also an ice chest, beach chairs, beach mats, beach bag and two bicycles. Any other watersports gear can be rented at windwardwatersports. They have all the toys you need!

Your deposit of 50% of your total fee is due at time of reservation. Deposit is refundable minus a 30% fee if your reservation is canceled more than 30 days prior to your arrival. If it is less than 30 days out we will refund your deposit minus 50% fee if we can rebook the reserved dates. For every day of your canceled days that does not rebook you will be charged. We do our best to rebook your days so you don’t have to pay. It is always best to be sure about your plans before you reserve your dates.
