  My husband and I just spent the month of January in this beautiful condo. It more than lives up to the photos and previous wonderful reviews on VRBO. It has lovely mountain views and the decor reflects the wonderful taste of the owners. Everything you could possibly need is provided here. The kitchen is wonderfully appointed and was a joy to use. The entire place was immaculate! It's an easy and beautiful walk to downtown. We have rented in Blowing Rock before, but this is by far our favorite place. We felt immediately at home! The owners were wonderful to work with and we hope to be back again soon!

  Great location...about a mile walk to downtown Blowing Rock, but a lovely walk. Eat at Bistro Roca & Storie St. Visit Grandfather Mountain & Linville Falls/caverns. This condo is very spacious, huge living room & closets, the biggest jacuzzi tub in the master bath that we've ever seen! Beautiful views with very comfortable furniture on the deck! Plenty of towels are provided & the sheets are high quality. We would definitely stay here again & recommend to our friends.

  We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo! The view is outstanding! The condo is stocked with everything you need and very comfortable! We also enjoyed being able to walk into town. Very convenient! Will definitely be back!

  We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin--it had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The views were beautiful! While the owner was very organized about everything we were required to do during our check out and arrival, we were very disappointed how she handled our situation in particular, as we needed to cancel our trip due an unforeseen emergency operation with a family member. She was not willing to give us a refund, so we had to go out of our way to fulfill our weekend before the year ran out. Still, this is a great place, just be wary on how strict the owner is.

  Owner response: When we were informed they had a friend with a family emergency I offered to open the dates back up to see if we could get the condo rebooked. If we were able to do that then I told her I would be happy to give her a refund. Because it was a family emergency I also offered to let them pick an alternate time to schedule their trip if we were not able to get the condo rebooked (no time limit was placed on when they needed to reschedule). I feel like we went out of our way to be accomodating, not strict but am happy to hear that they did enjoy the time they spent with us.

  What a wonderful relaxing stay we experienced in this condo! It is beautifully decorated and has everything needed. Upon entering and looking around, one immediately knows that a lot of pride and love went into making this place truly inviting, comfortable, and attractive. The deck is the perfect place for coffee where you can enjoy the spectacular view. The location is superb, being it is close to a variety of stores and shops for different needs or interests. We look forward to our next visit.

  Great Location, "Squeeky Clean", Fantastic View. There was everything needed to cook including very nice new pots and pans. My sister and I are retired living in SW Florida and were on a mission to find a place to hike and escape the Summer heat. Blowing Rock is it! A charming small town bustling with activity, fine restaurants, eclectic shops and friendly people. This condo is so convenient - to everything, but very peaceful and quiet. I have stayed in many VRBO properties and none have matched the TLC you will find in this condo...................

  This was our first trip to the area and we stayed for four nights to visit the Tweetsie Railroad. The condo location is very close to downtown Blowing Rock, but out of the way enough to have a very nice mountain view. The property feels like home and not a rental. It is decorated very nice and also clean. I am very particular and this is the first rental we have been to in a long time in which I did not have to clean something. The owner was great with giving us information and processing our stay. We are looking forward to going back to the area and would stay here again.

  My wife and I just returned from a week long visit at this beautiful condo. We were so impressed with the layout and the amenities, from the dishware to the bedding and decor. It was like staying over at a good friend's condo, it was that well appointed. We enjoyed our evening cocktails on the deck overlooking the gorgeous mountains each evening as the sun was setting. The kitchen was well stocked and the layout was perfect. We are walkers and golfers. We could walk to town in about 15 minutes and it is a beautiful route. We also hiked to Bass lake and up to the Moses Cone Manor house. That is an excellent workout if you enjoy hiking. If you prefer to drive it is just a short drive to Bass Lake on Rt. 221. The Moses Cone Manor House is a must see. It is now a local artist guild with beautiful handmade art from local artists and the scenery from the mountain top is breathtaking. Another enjoyable day trip was to the Banner Elk Winery. We were very impressed with the wines that are being produced in the local area. The condo is in a very convenient location to the grocery store and liquor store and to the many area restaurants. The owners were very friendly and helpful with whatever questions we may have had. I would highly recommend this condo rental without hesitation. We will definitely be returning guests!

  What a wonderful condo this was!!! We were all so extremely happy when we opened the door and saw this condo. The pictures on this site are nice but it far exceeded our expectations when we actually saw it. It was clean, cozy, comfortable and well stocked. It was the kind of rental that you don't want to leave. The view from the back balcony is incredible!! We walked to town and it was an easy walk on the sidewalk all the way. Blowing Rock and the areas around it are charming . The restaurants and shops were all great. The owner was easy to work with and had everything organized and ready for us. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!! We are planning our next trip back for next year.

  Have never stayed at a nicer place, and the view is breathtaking. Property owners are a joy to work with and extremely helpful in answering any questions. Thanks to the owners and this wonderful property, my wife and I had the best anniversary trip we've ever had. Don't know any way it could have been a better experience. The description of the property was right on target; however, the pictures do not do justice to how nice the place really is. It is in immaculate condition and superbly decorated. It's within easy walking distance to downtown Blowing Rock. It is convenient to all the restaurants and attractions in the area, which are all within just a few minutes walk or drive (depending upon where you're headed). Knight's On Main is a great restaurant for home cooking, and they have hearty breakfasts. The Bistro Roca has a chef who makes up an impressive selection of dishes for dinner and couples it with a great atmosphere. The Daniel Boone Inn in Boone serves family style and will keep bringing food until you cannot hold any more. Boone Drug on Main Street in Boone has a real soda fountain that is a throwback to days gone by, with sandwiches, floats, and other fare that will take older folks back to their childhood. For people from farther east and down the mountain, the barbecue at Pappy's (between Boone and Banner Elk) is as good as any you can get outside of Lexington, N.C. Woodlands Barbecue is right on 321 in Blowing Rock and the live entertainment they have every evening is worth the trip. The Mast General Store is on the way to Pappy's and just a few minutes outside of Boone. Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns, and LInville Falls are just a few minutes farther down the road. The actual Blowing Rock is almost within a stone's throw from the condo. Tweetsie Railroad, about half way between Blowing Rock and Boone is a treat for the young and young at heart (at least once). There are lots more things to do and many more places to eat nearby to suit every interest and taste. Our favorite time to go is during a time when Art in the Park is there for the weekend. Highly recommend this place and hope to stay there again soon.
