For beach lovers, you are just five minutes away from one of the best beaches along the Atlantic coast! Sunset Beach features 4 miles of white sand beach that is perfect for building sand castles, kite flying, playing bocci ball, running or biking.
For families, kids activities abound. The Village Activity Center at Sea Trail features indoor and outdoor pool, hot tubs, kiddy pool, and weight room for a small daily or weekly fee. Bike rentals available through the Village Activity Center in the summer. Sunset Beach features numerous putt-putt courses, a Planetarium and nearby Ocean Isle Museum. To the south, Myrtle Beach has many offerings, including the Ripleys Aquarium and Broadway at the Beach.
This one-floor vacation home features cathedral ceilings and a large open great room and dining area. The spacious master bedroom (King bed) includes an en suite master bath with Jacuzzi tub. Two other bedrooms (one with a Queen bed and other with 2 Twins) are found on the other side of the house with their own bathroom for maximum privacy.
A screened-in Carolina Room leading to the backyard and patio are perfect for that morning cup of coffee or evening cocktails. The quiet corner lot is surrounded by mature Carolina pines and features a large plantation-style front porch, perfect for watching the sun set over the Carolina pines.

Owner's Map of Sunset Beach
With Buckeye roots, Ken and Sandy Morckel have recently moved from Dublin, Ohio to Sunset Beach, NC (another home in Sea Trail) after splitting their time between the two locations over the past 10 years. Ken travels frequently as a consultant in the law enforcement and homeland security fields, after retiring from a 35 year career in public safety. Sandy is a fundraising consultant, and works with not-for-profit organizations in Ohio and the Carolinas. We have two adult children and four grandchildren who have been coming to Sunset Beach their entire life. Sunset Beach is absolutely our favorite place in the world, and we love to share information about the area with visitors. We look forward to having you experience all the things that make this area so special!

The location is perfect, and the activities available through Sea Trail and in the local area can't be beat. Beautiful beach -- one of the best I've seen, and away from all the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach. This is definitely one we are coming back to!
