Beautiful direct oceanfront villa in the prestigious Windsor Court complex of Palmetto Dunes Plantation. The Villa interior and furnishings are constantly being updated, with most recent work in Fall 2009. On the 3rd floor of 5 story building, with parking garage under building, this is an extremely spacious and beautifully decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa (at 1450 s.f), with new tile floors throughout the main living area, dining room, and kitchen, and updated carpeting in the bedrooms.
The owner bought this particular villa because it has one of the best ocean views of any 2 BR unit in Windsor Court (see view picture). The villa has beautiful furnishings and artworks, the owner lives in Atlanta and visits often, keeping the villa in perfect condition and ensuring that you will have everything you need to make your vacation enjoyable.
Both bedrooms are oceanside and have stunning ocean views through floor to ceiling glass. There is a large deck adjoining both the 2nd bedroom and living room, which has a nice glass table and 4 chairs, perfect for cocktails or breakfast to the sound of the ocean. There are windows on both sides of the building for nice natural lighting, and enjoying flow-through ocean breezes when the weather allows.
The master bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed (new eurotop plush mattress 2011), a new 32" HDTV, nice furnishings and artworks, a very large bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, and a large walk in closet.
The 2nd bedroom has twin beds (and all new furniture and bedding recently), a walk in closet, a nice sized bath with Jacuzzi tub/shower, and a 19" TV/DVD combo for the kids movies.
The living room has a queen sleeper sofa (a very comfortable fold-out Serta mattress), 2 large rattan wing chairs, a nice leather chair, a beautiful new 47" widescreen HDTV with HD cable, and a DVD/VCR player.
The Kitchen is large and very well equipped, with all new stainless steel appliances in 2009, a side by side refrigerator with icemaker, a convection oven range, microwave, new dishwasher and all necessary small appliances and cookware, so you will find everything you need to prepare meals should you choose to eat in.
There is a nice glass 6 seat table in the dining room, as well as a breakfast bar in the kitchen with two barstools. The adjacent-to-kitchen laundry room is walk-in, and has a recently new Maytag full size washer and dryer. There are a pair of vacuums, mops, brooms, and other cleaning equipment as well as a supply of light bulbs in the laundry room as well, so you can handle any minor cleaning or maintenance issues.
The villa has high speed DSL internet service with WiFi, and also features phone service with free domestic long distance. The villa also has keyless code door locking to eliminate having to keep up with keys.
Windsor Court has a large heated pool at oceanside (heated winter and spring) with lots of wind-sheltered seating, and a newly renovated large hot tub. There is a built-in gas grilling area at the pool as well in case you want to grill out, and nice large gazebo area for outdoor dining or cocktails.
The boardwalk, with shower facilities, leads to the most private and naturally broadest section of beach on Hilton Head, at low tide there is probably 500 yards of beach here! Windsor Court has 1000+ yds. of private beach, and is the perfect Hilton Head beach location, far enough from the Hilton and Marriott hotel crowds, yet close enough to walk to them should you desire. This is the quietest and nicest beach on the island.
This is strictly a no smoking and no pets villa, and has been kept this way for 15 years, so you will have no allergy problems here.
Windsor Court villas are absolutely the nicest oceanfront villas on Hilton Head Island and this one is a gem, you won't be disappointed!

My family and I have been to Hilton Head several times and this was the best place we stayed. The unit has a terrific view and it is very well-cared for and spotlessly clean! The property itself has a nice beach access that is not as crowded as some areas of Hilton Head very nearby. Bonus: The owner was a pleasure to deal with. What an amazing condo you have! My family and I have stayed in many other villas on the island and this is by far our favorite! It is very apparent that the owner has been staying on top of the maintenance as well as the decor of the condo. Nicer appliances and electronics than I have in my own home! There are beautiful beach-themed rooms, a GREAT view from the patio, and very spacious living quarters. Fully equipped kitchen- the owner has told me he cooks his family Thanksgiving dinner here every year, so the condo is great for chefs looking to cook on vacation! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway. Top of the line rental villa!! Thanks, we will definitely be back!

well decorated place, good view, nice electronics for when the sun got to be too much. Kids 2 and 4 really loved the place. No pets was good as we have allergies and the place was fine there.

Regrettable no WIFI was available nor paper products or Soap as stated in the ad. We had to unclog the kitchen sink that was backing up the dish washer. The view was lovely but the unit needs maintenance in the bathrooms and kitchen.
Owner response:they forward me reviews when I get them, so wanted to respond to yours on a few things. 1) I spent $300 having that kitchen drain unclogged about 2 weeks before you got there, so I wish you would have let me know there was an issue, I would have had the plumber come back out. As the rental agreement says, contact me with any maintenance issues you have and they will be addressed 2) I am not aware of the bath maintenance issues, so please let me know what they are and I will handle them 3) there are a ton of WIFI networks in the building with excellent signals and all are unsecured, so I am not sure what the problem was there either. I used to have my own but had constant problems with the cable modem and it was a waste of money anyway due to availability of other access. If you look in the rental contract this is specifically addressed 4) there is no mention at all of the paper goods in the ad, in the contract it verys specifically states that TP and starter supplies like hand soap are there, it specifically mentions that you need to bring other paper supplies, so I am not sure what the complaint is on that. Since yours is the first complaining review I have had, I wanted to respond. Would have been better if you had simply let me know of the issues, they would have been addressed immediately Thanks for your rental and I hope you return at some point
