  We stayed at Pena Mar for a little over a week. The rental was fabulous. My family and I were very comfortable. It felt just like home. The grounds of the gated community were beautiful as well. More importantly, the area was extremely peaceful and clean! The location was great as it was a central location to all of the site seeing activities we had planned. We would definitely rent from this renter again.

  My parents and I stayed in the apartment two weeks and had a wonderful time. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped, and excellently decorated. There is even a small yard in back where you can walk barefoot in the grass. We were happy we chose the apartment over a hotel. The complex is modern and clean. The 3 pools are pristine and uncrowded with views of the ocean and marina. The location is convenient, near a number of nice restaurants on Rt 987. It's only a few miles from Seven Seas Beach and the bioluminescent bay. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Rico who doesn't just want to see the inside of a resort.

  We are a family of 3 stationed overseas and this apartment exceeded all our expectations. We wanted a place away from the hustle and bustle of the San Juan metro area and this apartment met all our needs. From the moment we walked inside, we knew we made the right choice. Kitchen appliances are top-notch, beds are comfortable, and A/C units work perfectly. The apartment is very nicely decorated and everything is provided for you (towels, linens, etc). The pool and gym facilities are very well-kept and it was very quiet during our stay. Security is excellent. We stayed 3 weeks and all the security guards knew us by the 3rd day...and even so, they made sure they were allowing access to the right people. We were only a 5-minute drive from Seven Seas Beach and El Conquistador Resort and there are plenty of restaurants, fast food joints, supermarkets and pharmacies nearby. The marina is right across the street and it is very easy to rent a catamaran for a day trip to Icacos or Palomino. Jannette was very accomodating to our needs; she met us at the car rental office upon our arrival to give us the keys and provided maps to our destination, as well as her telephone numbers. The day we left, she met us at the airport with the same disposition as before. Overall, it was a great experience for us; traveling with a 1-year old is complicated and being in this apartment sure made our lives a lot easier. I will definitely return to this property for our next trip home to PR and our family on the island was as pleased as we were with this rental. Thank you so much!

  We could not have been more pleased with our vacation!!!! the rental was just as pictured and seemed very spacious for our family of 5. Our daughters loved it that there were even toys to play with. Janette was wonderful at getting the keys and directions to us. We will definitely put this on our favorite vacation list!!!!

  Me fascino el lugar. El lugar perfecto para despejar la mente y olvidarse del stress. Lo unico diferente fue un guardia de seguridad que creo que debe cambiar la actitud. Siempre que saliamos a comer y regresabamos nos cuestionaba nuestra identidad. Inclusive mi esposo era interrogado por el aun el estando en la lista del apartamento. Sinceramente era un dolor de cabeza cada vez que el estaba en el porton. Nos sentimos frustrados. El nombre del guardia es Alexander

  Owner response: Lamentamos mucho su inquietud con la seguridad del lugar. Los guardias son bien estrictos y algunos lo son mas que otros. Personalmente me dá tranquilidad el saber que estoy en un sitio seguro y que los guardias de seguridad hagan bien su trabajo.

  We stayed here with My husband,twin boys,daughter & Mother-in-law Easter Week We had a blast the apartment was nicely decorated, clean & great location definitely recommend car. I felt very safe in this newly gated community..My family had a BLAST I would definitely come back again!

  I stayed here in December 2008 with my husband and 2 girls as well as my parents and we had a great time. The unit is very clean and the decor is very nice. The complex is very safe and secure and it was very quiet and not too busy while we were there. The girls had a blast in the pools. There are many great restaurants in the area and the beach at the end of the road is beautiful and very pristine. I think it's called 7 seas beach. The further you walk down the beach the better. We also did a kayaking tour of the bioluminescent bay that was fun. We also took the ferry to Vieques for the day and had a great time. The condo is very convenient to many activities in this part of Puerto Rico. I would definitely recommend this property to family or friends.
