I just had a wonderful stay at this condo with my two daughters. We are from Canada and the owner did a great job at providing directions and information on everything you need to know to have a smooth arrival and stay. The condo was very clean, spacious and well maintained. It was very conveniently located close to the town, grocery store and ski hill. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting Aspen.

We just spent 5 nights at this property. This is our first time dealing with VRBO, and working with the owner was painless. All information received was timely and accurate. This is a very compact 1 BR, and is perfect for two adults. It is a mix of old and new - the A/V system is new, the kitchen stove old, the bed new, the kitchen cabinets old. But everything was functional and the condo was very comfortable. I particularly liked that it was fully stocked with spices and decent pots and pans. And by the way, the bed is amazingly comfortable. The location is perfect. You can get to dozens of restaurants within a 10-12 minute walk. You are right on a bike trail. Saved the best for last. This is a one bedroom so it doesn't have a deck. But you open the sliding door, and the Roaring Fork River is indeed roaring right outside your condo. You can hear it in the bedroom at night like you were sitting in it. So incredibly peaceful. We always travel with portable speakers and an iPod and we never even unpacked it. The music of the river was just too wonderful. We want to go back.

My girlfriend and I stayed in this unit at the Chateau Roaring Fork and found it to be delightful. It was very nicely equipped for our week long stay, and the living room windows that run from floor to ceiling and overlook the river make for a very tranquil setting. The complex is just a few blocks away from the gondola and downtown Aspen, but you wouldn’t know it because it’s tucked away at the end of a cul de sac and is very private. We will stay again!
