We have completed a $30,000 remodeling job on this beautiful condo! It now has all brand new tile floors, granite counters, all new stainless appliances, all new bath vanities & fixtures, new furniture, and brightly painted walls with a happy decor complete our fun beach look! During the winter of 2011, we continued the remodeling by installing a brand new tiled shower in the master bathroom. We also had a custom bunk bed built in the Pirate Bedroom. This is a full-sized bunk bed with a twin trundle that will sleep 5 people comfortably! We have just built 2 hallway "Junior Bunks" in April. All of our guests have loved the new decor and organization, and they have helped us to keep it bright, clean, and looking like new!
We have set up our condo for families. The first two bedrooms have king size beds in them with a twin mattress under each one that can be pulled out and used. The third bedroom has a twin over a full bunk, with another twin mattress stored below the bed that can be pulled out and used. There is a DVD player and t.v. in each of the bedrooms and the living room. We have a beach umbrella, beach chairs (4), body board, a big bag of sand toys, a big beachbag, floats, & an air pump for your use and enjoyment! We also have a booster seat / high chair, and a "Pac & Play" infant bed for our smallest guests :)
The view from our condo just can't be beat. The master bedroom (and even the bathroom) has a panoramic view of the gulf. The 2nd master bedroom also looks directly out at the beach. We have a deep balcony looking out over the pool and out to the gulf. It has a table with 6 chairs, and it's a great place to watch the sun set each evening.

Why the Owner Chose Harbour Place
Our first condo was on West Beach Blvd. in Gulf Shores, but we lost it to Hurricane Ivan. Once things settled down, and we began our search for the "perfect condo" again, we just couldn't find what we wanted. When we finally looked at this one, after viewing dozens of others, we knew as soon as we entered the HUGE foyer that "this was the one!" We wanted a condo with large bedrooms so that we could bring our big family and the friends that always want to tag along with our kids. I don't like my living area cluttered up with people sleeping in it, so this condo was perfect! We also wanted cleaner and clearer water. We have been amazed at the water clarity by moving just a few miles east of our former location. At least 90% of the time, the water looks like a swimming pool - clean and clear! Our final consideration was how crowded the beach would be in our location. We wanted an area that only allowed low-rise buildings so that the crowds wouldn't be as intense. We are located in Romar Beach, which is the older part of Orange Beach, just past the state park. Nothing over 5 floors is allowed, and nothing is built on our side of the building. Even during peak summer months, you can easily find a spot out on the beach! We have not been disappointed yet by our decision, and all of our guests have been just as happy!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Our favorite part of this condo (other than the awesome view)is the POOL!!!! Our children LOVE to come down here in the winter to play. The ocean is too cold to swim in, but usually the air temperature is great. So, we'll go outside to play on the beach, run along in the surf, and then come inside to our wonderful pool. We've been to many resorts that claim to have a "heated pool," and ended up with blue lips! Not at OUR pool! It is truly a comfortably heated pool! Our favorite time of the year is the fall and winter - no crowds at the beach, a warm pool, and no long waits at the restaurants!

We are both teachers, and we run a small rental home business here in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. We have 3 adopted foster children, and 2 birth children, a dog, 2 cats (one is a Bengal!), turtles, hermit crabs, and fish! Life is busy, but we love it that way! Our favorite place to be is down at the beach, so our family packs up and heads down there often after a busy week at school (it's just a 4 hour drive for us). If our condo is booked, we stay in our 5th wheel camper instead - anything just to be near the beach! We get some fun teasing from our guests that they can SURE tell this condo is owned by a couple of teachers - labels on things, books everywhere, great organization! But, they also rave about how much they love this! So we hope you'll try out our condo and see what YOU think :)

The condo is just as the pictures show. The location, food and opportunities for shopping and sightseeing were great!! Oh! the blue water and white sandy beach was wonderful to wake up to each morning. I would recommend this condo to anyone and we plan to use it again in the future.You must see it!!

Once again we so enjoyed our week at the Roberts Condo. This year we took my in-laws and they were so impressed by all that the condo was stocked with and the organization of everything. The trip is so much easier when you don't have to pack beach towels, buckets, shovels, chairs, umbrellas, wakeboards, etc. And the kitchen is stocked with everything you need, including spices. One of my other favorite things about the condo is the decorations. I LOVE the beachy feel in every room. The bright colors are awesome and cheery. And almost every room has a view of the beach. In the master you can shower and look out at the beautiful ocean. There is not one negative thing that I can say about the Roberts condo, to me it is perfect. I look forward to many more trips their with my friends and family and with Kim I know I will feel welcomed.

Condo was beautifully decorated with all the extra amenites you don't find at other condos. (Trust me, I've stayed at a lot in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores.) Owner was very friendly and helpul with whatever we needed. We go to the beach every year, and this is the first place we've been to that my husband said that he just assumed we come back to again. The location was perfect, too. It wasn't next to mammoth high rises where you have to share the beach with a lot of people, but not so far away that you were always driving. A plus for us as we ended up going to the grocery store for something or other 4 out of the 7 days we were there. The pool was definitely a hit with the kids as well. And the outstanding views were a hit with the adults. Just what a week at the beach should be.

Oh my! Awsome. Had a great time even though tropical storm, "Lee" tried to spoil our trip. Condo was clean and plenty of room for 3 families. Ages ranged from 2 to 63. Will definately return. Thanks to Kim for allowing us to share her home. Naval Air Museum is huge and free. Don't miss the Shrimp Shack in front of Purple Octopus. Great sea food, awsome service and very reasonable price.

We had a GREAT stay at this condo and really didn't want to leave!! You can tell that the owners really take pride in this property...it was very clean and they've thought of & provide everything that you could possibly need...to say that they've made it family friendly is an under-statement. The pictures do a good job of giving a visual of the entire space, but when you see it in person, you'll see that they've really maximized the use of every "nook & cranny" they have. We were really excited to find a condo rental that would fit 11+ people for such a great price...our two families (4 adults and 7 children) fit in this condo very comfortably for a full week and there was room to spare! Besides the gorgeous beach and nice indoor/outdoor pool, there are plenty of activities (para-sailing, dolphin cruises, the Gulf State Park/Pier, etc.), restaurants, and shopping close by...we really enjoyed driving about 30min. to the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, FL and watched the Blue Angels Air Show practice (it was FREE). The owners provide boxes of brochures and menus in the condo for reference & recommendation (which we found very helpful). The owners were very friendly and great to work with...they quickly responded to every question that we had and even some that we hadn't thought of (we thought that was great, too). I would definitely recommend this place to my friends/family and we hope to work it out so we can come back to Harbour Place at Orange Beach very SOON!!

We loved everything about your condo! The rooms were bright, updated, and spacious! The oceanfront views were so beautiful to wake up to each morning. We had three families in the condo, but it worked out fine because we had young kids and there were plenty of beds. The kitchen was great for cooking meals and very well organized. We loved the extras, like the beach gear, take-out menu box, and games/dvd's. Condo owners are wonderful to communicate with and the condo was cleaned well. We will definitely return to this wonderful place! Thanks for a great experience!

We felt more like guests in their home than renters! Kim has thought of everything...from beach chairs, toys,towels etc to restaurant menus/reviews to a fully supplied kitchen. Owners provide an abundance of communication and follow up. The condo is beautiful and so much fun. The kids LOVED the pirate themed room and all the games to play. I enjoyed my coffee each morning on the patio watching the dolphins in the Gulf. A great time was had by all!!!

We absolutely loved this condo. It had plenty of space for 4 teenage kids, 3 little toddlers and 4 adults. The view was amazing in itself from the condo and the fact that it was right on the beach, just made it better. When we go back to Orange Beach, we are definitely going to try and rent this condo again. Such a great experience and the owners are great people. Thanks again for letting us stay! We love Orange Beach, and the condo was awesome. The owners answered all our questions promptly, and the condo is very organized and well maintained. We had beautiful views, and we appreciated the extra twin mattresses, pirate room, and baby equipment. We shopped at the outlet mall in Foley, parasailed, played at Adventure Island, rode the ferris wheel at The Wharf, hunted crabs, and swam in the pool...but the best part was the beach. I would definitely rent this condo again!

Our family came down wanting a get away & we found it. The condo was just what we wanted & how the pics showed it to be. It was awesome! The location was right on the beach & the swimming pool was a added bonus. It was our little ones first time to the beach & they loved it & want to come back soon. There is restaurants & grocery stores right up the road. All 7 of us loved it & are planning on going back in a couple of years :) Thank you Roberts family!!
