We have completed a $30,000 remodeling job on this beautiful condo, and it now has all brand new tile floors, granite counters, all new stainless appliances, all new bath vanities & fixtures, new furniture, and brightly painted walls with a happy decor complete our fun beach look! We recently continued the remodeling by installing a brand new tiled shower in the master bathroom. We also had a custom bunk bed built in the Pirate Bedroom. This is a full-sized bunk bed with a twin trundle that will sleep 5 people comfortably! We have also built 2 hallway 'Junior Bunks.' All of our guests have loved the new decor and organization, and they have helped us to keep it bright, clean, and looking like new!
We have set up our condo for families. The first two bedrooms have king size beds in them with a twin mattress under each one that can be pulled out and used. The third bedroom has a full over a full bunk, with a twin trundle bed that slides out from below the bunk. This is the perfect condo for two families to share.
There is a DVD player and t.v. in each of the bedrooms and the living room. We have a beach umbrella, beach chairs, body board, a big bag of sand toys, a big beachbag, floats, & an air pump for your use and enjoyment! We also have a booster seat / high chair, and a 'Pac & Play' infant bed for our smallest guests :)
The view from our condo just can't be beat. The master bedroom (and even the bathroom) has a panoramic view of the gulf. The 2nd master bedroom also looks directly out at the beach. We have a deep balcony looking out over the pool and out to the gulf. It has a table with 6 chairs, and it's a great place to watch the sun set each evening.

This condo is awesome!!! The view is great! I loved going out on the balcony in the morning to have a cup of coffee, with the ocean view. Great place for a larger family also!! The owners were great!! If I had a question they were quick to respond. Will most defiantly visit this condo in the future!!!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

The location is great- away from the congestion, but still easy to get anywhere. the beach was clean and never crowded. Everyone was family friendly. Met a lot of nice people. The condo is top notch. Everything you need is there. It is the perfect stay for all ages. We had a group of 10, ranging from 5 to 62. The rules may look tough at first, but it is a simple courtesy- if you use it, put it away in the same shape you found it. That keeps it a great place for the next family! WE WILL USE THIS CONDO AGAIN.Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

To the Robert's family, We were the other family with Will and Deanna. I just wanted to leave a note saying thanks. This condo was perfect for our group of ten (two families). Quick access to the beach and the heated pool. The owners take pride in their condo and it shows in the multiple amenities that are provided for the guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already thinking of booking again. I can honestly say we may never use another condo again. We stayed at this condo in January. The pool is just as warm as described and very enjoyable. We didn't have any children with us, but I can really recommend this as a family friendly condo. The owners furnished boxes full of activity and restaurant suggestions. We definitely took advantage of that info. We were very careful to try to adhere to the condo rules which I'm sure are needed when renting to the public. The owner's attention to detail, hopefully will maintain the quality of the condo so that it can be enjoyed by renters for years to come. Great beachfront view and uncrowded.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+.

Our family rented this condo over the Thanksgiving holiday. The condo was nice and large for our group of 8. The younger kids loved the pirate room. The view from the balcony was breathtaking every morning. We watched the dolphins in the mornings. It was nice having so many things provided for us. The beach towels, beach toys, games and all the kitchen accessories were wonderful not to have to pack up and take. Great location. We will definitely rent this condo again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We stayed over our fall break with our best friends and all of our kids. First of all, the set up is perfect because there are two master suites, so there are no awkward moments between families over who gets the master bedroom. Both are equally nice - and the kids (of all ages!) LOVED the pirate room! The owners' attention to detail and making our vacation an ease was so apparent in the things they include that most other condos don't, such as spices, trash bags, dish washing detergent, etc. The above and beyond things we enjoyed were the booster seat, pack-n-play bed, beach chairs, beach umbrella, step stools (for kids to brush their teeth/wash their hands), beach towels (and SO many hooks to hang them on!!:)) and the beach toys!! There were so many beach toys our kids took something new with them every time we went down to the beach. Between all the little things that the owners put into their condo, the balcony views, what wonderful people they are to rent from, and what a well-maintained unit this is, we could not be happier. We had such a relaxing, wonderful vacation it's beyond words! If you want to have a great time, I can only say you'll regret not staying here!!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We had no doubt after viewing the site that this would be the perfect place for our family of 7 to stay during fall break. With plenty of room and some to spare, the condo was just as pictured...with a few surprises for the kids upon arrival. What a treat to have beach chairs, sand toys, wake boards and more (things we could not fit in our vehicle) available for us to use while on the beach! The indoor pool was nice for those cooler days; and being so close to the state park gave us the privacy we needed on the beach, as well as the room to explore. It was amazing to watch the dolphins from the balcony do their morning tricks within swimming distance and see the schools of fish and stingrays from afar, as opposed to last year's jellyfish. Though the weather was beautiful our entire stay, there were plenty of indoor activities provided in our condo should we decide to take a break from the sun--puzzles, books, games & video games, in addition to the pirate ship bed & dress up toys, of course! Just down from Dippin' Dots in one direction and Adventure Island (putt putt & arcade) in the other, Harbour Place is set close enough to the many delicious eateries in Gulf Shores, as well as Orange Beach. We prefer the smaller, more quiet setting, that this 5-floor Harbour Place condominium provides, and plan to return to the 5th floor, 511! Thanks for being so purposeful & thoughtful in the design, communication and organization of your property! :)Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

My wife and I and our 4 children (10, 7, 5, 3) loved this unit. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. The unit was clean and ready when we arrived and furnished as described. The owner was in contact with us before and during our trip to make sure everything went smoothly. The beach towels, sand toys, etc. that were provided made packing much easier as we didn't have to worry with these items. We would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

My family and I had a great time staying at Harbour House 511. The condo was just as the photos indicated. It was well maintained, clean and a pleasure to be in. We arrived on a sunny Saturday afternoon. We made our way up to the condo went inside, immediately opened up the window blinds and there was that beautiful view of the beach and ocean. The condo is just a short walk from the beach and eating establishments, souvenir shops and food markets are close by. The pool and hot tub area were clean and family-friendly. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was a tremendous time saver and was greatly appreciated! The table and chairs on the patio were where we spent many of our mornings watching the dolphins and our evenings, drinking wine and enjoying the sunset and the amazing weather. The reservation process was very well organized and effectively commuicated by the condo owner, Kim Roberts. Kim is very personable and personally followed up on all inquiries we made of her. Harbour House 511 has our highest recommendation!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: We are both retired teachers, and we run a small rental home business and a bed and breakfast here in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. We have 3 adopted foster children, and 2 birth children, a dog, 3 cats, turtles, and fish! Life is busy, but we love it that way! Our favorite place to be is down at the beach, so our family packs up and heads down there often after a busy week (it's just a 4 hour drive for us). We get some fun teasing from our guests that they can SURE tell this condo is owned by a couple of teachers - labels on things, books everywhere, great organization! Why the Owner Chose Harbour Place:
Our first condo was on West Beach Blvd. in Gulf Shores, but we lost it to Hurricane Ivan. Once things settled down, and we began our search for the 'perfect condo' again, we just couldn't find what we wanted. When we finally looked at this one, after viewing dozens of others, we knew as soon as we entered the HUGE foyer that 'this was the one!' We wanted a condo with large bedrooms so that we could bring our big family and the friends that always want to tag along with our kids. I don't like my living area cluttered up with people sleeping in it, so this condo was perfect! We also wanted cleaner and clearer water. We have been amazed at the water clarity by moving just a few miles east of our former location. At least 90% of the time, the water looks like a swimming pool - clean and clear! Our final consideration was how crowded the beach would be in our location. We wanted an area that only allowed low-rise buildings so that the crowds wouldn't be as intense. We are located in Romar Beach, which is the historic part of Orange Beach, just past the state park. Nothing over 5 floors is allowed, and nothing is built on our side of the building. Even during peak summer months, you can easily find a spot out on the beach! We have not been disappointed yet by our decision, and all of our guests have been just as happy!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Our favorite part of this condo (other than the awesome view) is the POOL!!!! Our children LOVE to come down here in the winter to play. The ocean is too cold to swim in, but usually the air temperature is great. So, we'll go outside to play on the beach, run along in the surf, and then come inside to our wonderful pool. We've been to many resorts that claim to have a 'heated pool,' and ended up with blue lips! Not at OUR pool! It is truly a comfortably heated pool! Our favorite time of the year is the fall and winter - no crowds at the beach, a warm pool, and no long waits at the restaurants!
