The location of this apartment was perfect. We were very close to all our needs; the Vatican was just a few blocks away, shopping and restaurants were just around the corner. The apartment was roomy and clean. We appreciated having a tour book with a good map in the apartment, we used it to go to many sites.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Host was there on arrival and showed us through the apartment, which was beautiful. Paolo spoke excellent English and provided some good restaurants in the area. Beds were comfy, never used the air conditioning since the windows provided a nice breeze, but the trade-off was some traffic noise but, hey, you are in the city! Location was great, near Vatican (you can see the dome as you walk around the corner) with great coffee shop just around the corner and nice restaurants just one block over. Highly recommend.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I decided to go on holiday to Rome after a cruise and we wanted to discover the romantic historic city that everyone told us about with passion. It was important to us to be at the center of the city so we choose to stay at the Loft and could have not chosen better! Big and spacious apartment, equipped kitchen, internet, air conditioning, everything really close, not only attractions but bus station and underground. We are definitely coming back and we hope that the Manager will treat us to this wonderful apartment again!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Just got back from my vacation in Rome with my family! Our flat was really luxury! Charming, enjoyable from every point of view, clean and tidy and offered simply everything. We had a large tv, internet access, air conditioning and what a view from the apartment! Shopping was great, food amazing! Do not know what to say. Thank you Paolo & Nadia for letting us stay at the Loft!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This is a stylish luxury apartment so large for four people. Its location is unbelievable right on the corner of the Vatican Square. All the staff is super: the owners Paulo and Nadia, the general manager Emily and the doorman Fabio are very friendly. Credits are due, thanks for everythingDid you find this review helpful? I and my children had a wonderful time exploring Rome from Paolo and Nadia's apartment. It was perfect for us. The apartment was centrally located to the Vatican, Pizza di Spagna and del Popolo. Everything was in walking distance, no need for a rental car. The apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed during our stay. We were extremely comfortable the entire week we stayed and the assistant Emely was lovely. Thank you Emely and thank you Paolo and Nadia! CiaoRecommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

My family and I stayed one week here and enjoyed it very much. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the Vatican and there is a taxi stand right outside to take you anywhere in the city. There is a cafe next door for coffee in the morning and loads of great restaurants and pizzerias within easy waking distance. They could have provided more towels and Fabio the doorman doesn't speak English very well but overall a great place to stay. It was a bit noisy at night since it's on a main square but again, the location was perfect! It's a standard 40 Euro rate for a taxi from Fiumicino airport. You won't be disapointedRecommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing.
Owner response: Dear David, We are so happy that you enjoyed your vacation in our “The Suite”! Of course Rome especially in the festive periods in which you were there is a bit noisier than usual. Then I’m sorry for the misunderstanding but surely you could have had more towels, you only needed to ask Miss Emily (our general manager who is English mother tongue) and she would have provided you with what you wished. Also we are sorry if you expected to pay only 40 euro for the taxi service but a trusted taxi service with nice cars in the middle of the day for 5 people with suitcases does request a higher pay. In any case thank you so much for your five stars review and for your good time in our apartment, we appreciated a lot and hope to accommodate you once again!

The Suite is a great apartment, much more beautiful than in the pictures! Its location is simply gorgeous and all people involved in the rental are friendly and kindly. Emily May is lovely and helped us a lot during our stay. The price cannot be beaten, just think that for the Orange Hotel which is front you should pay 180 for a basic room while me and my husband paid only 130 euro per night for an apartment with two bathrooms, two bedrooms and kitcken….uaooo! Thanks guys!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Me and my four buddies just got back from our holiday in Rome lasted one week. We wanted to get into the Italian amusements, history and great food. We wanted to be at the center of all of this so we stayed at the Suite. The location is absolutely amazing, just next to the Vatican, easy transport and close to all the pubs and discos for our one week movida!!!! The apartment is much better than expected, spacious, clean offered every comfort and great price to stay in an ancient building and apartment like the Suite. Trying to sort out the getaway 2 and planning on staying at the Suite (which is a Sweet Suite) again in the Eternal City.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

On a recent trip to Rome we opted to stay at The Suite instead of a hotel. The Suite is in a great location. There are lots of restaurants and shopping areas nearby. You can also catch a cab outside the front door or walk a couple of blocks to The Vatican and catch a bus. Being Americans we packed everything we owned for our trip so it was nice to have an elevator to get us up to our room. The Suite was just as pictured. The rooms were very large and comfortable. It was nice having two bathrooms as there were four of us. The owner of The Suite, Paolo, was very helpful before our arrival answering many questions we had about our trip. Staying at The Suite gave you a taste of what it might be like if you actually lived in Rome.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you so much for your nice words dear Anne! We hope to see you soon and surely I will contact you once I get New Work! Take care Paolo, Nadia and Emily

Staying in Paolo's apartment really helped make our visit to Rome wonderful. Walking at my elderly mother's pace, the apartment was only a 10 minute stroll to the Vatican and also 10 minutes to the Vatican Museum. With three women, the two bathrooms were so handy and there was always plenty of hot water for showers. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen very useful for breakfast. The cafe next door was fine for snacks and the market down on Via Cola di Rienzo had everything we needed for breakfast. Paolo arranged for a car service to pick us up and drop us back to the airport and this worked out cheaper for the 3 of us and we were dropped right to the door. No dragging bags around Termini or the Metro. The apartment was just as photographed and it was very spacious and full of character. The apartment was a little noisy during the weekend nights but ear plugs sorted that out and overall would recommend this apartment.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Hello dear Mairead. Many thanks for your comment, I’m very glad you enjoyed your stay at “The Suite”. As told I really believe the two bathrooms, the beds and the kitchen are all very useful and comfortable. Also the location is a great addition to the value of the apartment and by the way please let me tell you were definitely walking at your elderly mother’s pace since the entrance of the Vatican Museum is for a normal person not more than 2-3 minutes far walking from the apartment...:) Then I’m sorry for the noise but actually that weekend there was a special night celebration in the City. Finally we were pleased to arrange for you the best possible pick up service from and to the airport and it is funny to know you say the apartment is full of character. Well it seems to me you appreciated a lot “The Suite” and it makes me really happy. So thank you so much for recommending it dear Mairead, hope to see you soon again. All the best Paolo

Paolo was a tremendous host. And he checked in with us the next day to be sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is a few blocks from the St. Peter's Basilica and had numerous great restaurants within walking distance. Fabio the doorman was also very helpful with suggestions for dining. The internet access is a definate plus for those with teens or have to keep in touch. You get a true flavor of Rome staying at the St. Peter Paul House. Great kitchen and two baths, a plus for girls. We had a wonderful stay and Paolo was very helpful even before we arrived by helping us arrange for rides to and from the airport. The bus line and metro are close by and there are many markets to pick up food and snacks, we took advantage of the kitchen and ate in one night. The building has an elevator which is helpful for suitcases and those with physical disabilities. Grazie Paolo!! Owner response: Ciao dear Debi! Thank you so much for your description of the apartment. And many thanks for the great dinner we had at "Le Coppelle", I loved that night together! Please bring my greetings to John, Bob and Sara. I wish you all the best and hope to see you soon! Paolo

WOW!! My husband and two small children stayed in this great apartment and truly enjoyed it. Paolo is stellar. Charming and accomodating. He referred us to a restaurant called Zigaetana and the price was great. A five minute walk to the Vatican, and we did the Hop on hop off bus for two days. The apartment is larger than the pictures. No regrets and will be back!!!Owner response: Ciao cara Patrizia! Thank you so much also for your stay in Calabria. Pretty soon I will be in Toronto for work and be sure I will give you a call! Our family of four stayed in this lovely apartment in the heat of the summer and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Our very early arrival was accommodated and Fabio and Paolo were available for any concerns/questions/suggestions that we required. The apartment itself is lovely and spacious and we couldn't imagine a better location to enjoy this fabulous city. We only took a taxi once during our week here. We were able to easily walk everywhere we wanted! We hope to return one day!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 7/7

Four of us stayed at Paolo's apt for 3 days the first week of June; the accomadation met our needs perfectly; it is located only 2 blocks from St. Peter's Square and a 10 minute walk to the entrance of the Vatican Museum; there are many, many restaurants in the neighborhood and excellent shopping; the apt was large and roomy and internet access was available 24/7. Paolo, himself, helped arrange our transportation needs from the cruise port and to the airport; I highly recommend a stay here.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/4

My family of four stayed at San Peter and Paul's House for 6 nights. We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is quiet, very clean, comfortable, spacious, and in a safe area. The location cannot be beat -- a few minutes walk to the Vatican, buses and taxis right around the corner, a few blocks to the Metro, grocery store, shops and restaurants nearby. We ate breakfast and some dinners at the apartment which saved us a lot of money. Paolo is very friendly and responsive to any problems. He lent us his laptop, which is very important especially when there are teen-agers in the family! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Rome.Did you find this review helpful? We just returned from our stay at St Peter and Paul's House and it was truly fabulous! Paolo, unfortunately, was out of town on a family emergency but he managed to contact us by phone to make sure we had everything we needed. He is so kind and helpful; even arranging a car to pick us up at the airport. Fabio, the doorman, was also very helpful. The building was so beautiful and well maintained. The apartment itself is huge, clean and comfortable (the photos don't do it justice.). The location is perfect only minutes from the Vatican. We will absolutely stay here again when visiting Roma! Apartment is located in a great building, that’s very well maintained and has an elevator. Paulo, the owner is an unbelievably charming and accommodating gentleman. He speaks English, Spanish and is very, very considerate without being intrusive. Fabio, the building doorman is a great guy, who can recommend a great place for dinner. The apartment is very spacious, with large rooms, high ceilings, vast hallway and two separate bathrooms, and a very cozy sit-down well-equipped kitchen. It’s a perfect place for at home made breakfast, and to gather for a nightcap, or hot tea in the evening after a full day of seeing the sights in Rome. The location is absolutely great, walking minutes away from the Vatican, subway, shopping, and within walking distance from the city center. There’s a great produce market and a supermarket within 3 minute walk, a taxi stand right around the corner, and a coffee shop with fantastic pastries and gelato that seems to be always open. The Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s basilica are literally 3-5 minutes away by a leisurely walk, and there is a restaurant alley Via Borgo Pio. The area is very safe and quiet at night, and full of activity with tourists and shoppers during the day.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Europe and our stay at Paolo's San Peter and Paul's House was one of the great highlights of our trip! The photos don't even come close to showing what a beautiful and classy apartment this is. It's in the perfect location, a couple of blocks from the Vatican, and is so much larger than we expected. We stepped outside each morning to the glories of Rome and looked forward each day to returning to our wonderful place. Paolo couldn't have been more accomodating or nicer and we look forward to the next time we go to Rome...this is where we'll stay!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/4

This is a fabulous, spacious apartment and Paolo, the host, is most gracious. I love to cook on vacation, so the only thing I would recommend for the kitchen is a Coffee pot, dishtowels, and a big serving spoon. A hair dryer would also be nice to have available in the bathroom. The apartment is in a great location. Close to markets and the Vatican. Easy access to the hop on hop off bus. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. We were worried that the apartment would be smoky since the VRBO site said it allowed smoking - but there was no evidence of cigarette smoke in the apartment. Overall we had a wonderful time and loved the apartment.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

We were so impressed by Paolo and the apartment. He is a very kind, gracious man and went the extra mile to make sure that we had everything we needed. He was available to answer any questions we had, was willing to be flexible on our booking (we added a night). Beyond Paolo, the owner/ manager, were surprised that the photos of the unit misrepresented the unit. The unit is much larger and more well equipped than the photos show. And it was clean! Couldn't have asked for a better location...gelato just outside the front door and just beyond that, the Vatican. Thanks for an amazing stay!Did you find this review helpful? Not many things in life surprises me. Maybe because I am very demanding person. When I contact Mr. Zagami to rent his apartment, I did have a great impression of this guy however I could not expected that the apartment live is much better than the pictures I saw in the website. We were in 5 and our stay was just perfect. The building is more than well situated and everything inside definitely fulfils our needs.Mr. Paolo could not see us on the first night but we were well greeted from the guardian of the building Mr. Fabio. The place is clean, well-equipped and very charming. I surely recommend to anyone who cares for quality and good things. Our trip makes a big difference with this excellent place to stay. In a few months my friends and I are arranging again to go back to Rome and if we are lucky, we will find St. Peter’s and Paul house available. For any doubts or recommendations, please contact me at bamsjulianaathotmaildotcomDid you find this review helpful? Our stay in San Peter and Paul's house was truly an enjoyable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted at the main door of the building by Fabio (the guardian of the building). He is very nice, charming and helpful in recommending a few restaurants for us to have a great meal our first night. Fabio called Paolo (the owner of the apartment and who was away on business but took the time from his business to welcome us) and we spoke to him on the phone and he spoke perfect english and you could tell he was very well-educated. Upon Paolo's return from his business trip, he came to the apartment to greet us in person and we would have to say that Paolo's warmth, generosity and hospitality was above and beyond what we ever expected and more than we ever would have received from a hotel. The apartment is located in a quiet building and is on the 3rd floor which has stairs and also an elevator. The building is centrally located to all the major tourist attractions wherein you can easily walk to. There is a terrace at the top of the building (maybe if you ask Paolo or Fabio, he might be able to take you to it as it's locked) that has a phenominal view of Rome and the Vatican which you could take pictures if you wanted to. St. Peter's square is a 5 min walk and is beautiful to experience at night. This spacious apartment was very suitable to our needs. From the well-equipped modern kitchen to the two bathrooms, which are essential for a family, to the bedrooms...you feel comfortable and welcome. The decor has a touch of antiques yet also a touch of modern. We loved the fact that the windows could be opened and the wooden shutters could be opened in the morning to let the sun & fresh air in but at night able to close them to cut down on the street traffic. We were able to be tourists but also you could feel like locals as we shopped for groceries at the nearby markets. The neighborhood is very safe even when we walked at night. The markets, cafes, restaurants, taxis, buses were all located just around the corner of the building and wonderful places to shop all around. We would highly recommend this apartment and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me rboyd at coxandpalmerdotcomDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/4

Our stay in this lovely apartment helped to make our first trip to Rome even more special. It is quite spacious, clean and comfortable. The location in a vibrant, upscale residential neighborhood(just a block from the Vatican) is very convenient to lots of shopping and restaurants. A short and pleasant walk across the Tiber leads one to the much celebrated Piazza Navona and so many of the other places you will want to visit. Our host who also lives in the building was very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely recommend San Peter and Paul's house to our friends.Did you find this review helpful? My family of 7 stayed in this place from 30 Aug 08 to 1 Sep 08. It was everything we needed for visiting the Eternal City! Very clean with updated appliances, the Vatican Walls were visible from the front of the building and a walk to Saint Peter's Basilica took only 5 minutes. Plenty of good and affordable dining facilities nearby. We were most impressed by the personal touch by the owner who arranged parking for our minivan. Most definitely will stay there again when we travel back to Rome. If you have a question about my stay, please contact me at twelsh5013 at yahoo.Did you find this review helpful?
