Our condo is on the 2nd floor

 

Location: Christiansted, USVI - St. Croix, Caribbean (STX Airport 15 minutes)

Accommodations:  Condominium, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 4)

Condominium has private outside stairway with large landing. From balcony the ocean is directly below. Constant sound of surf plus great sunsets. Eastern tradewinds come directly into front of condominium balcony.

Vaulted ceiling gives open-air feel. Full kitchen with dining nook. Living room with office nook - FREE local calls (long distance by phone card).

Horseshoe-style, 34-unit, gated complex opening to ocean. On-site manager. Pool is in center with many palm trees for shade - see pictures on personal website.


Christiansted is three miles away and is the neatest town we have seen in the Caribbean. Entire town has retained its old Danish architecture with many restoration projects in progress. Many fine restaurants, shops, and inexpensive local eating places. Boardwalk along harbor with bars (crab races) and restaurants. Plus casino ten miles away.

St. Croix has the most fertile farm land in the Caribbean for its size with semi-arid land to east and high mountains with tropical rain forest to west. Scuba diving is as good as anywhere with the wall several miles deep within swimming distance of shore but there are many dive operators. Driving is a pleasure as locals stop for everyone to give you access from side road or stop sign. Come and enjoy the forgotten island. But St. Thomas and shopping is just a ferry or sea plane ride away.
