We had an excellent time at the Parkway Beauty! Our stay was a long weekend girl's shopping trip. There were 8 people in our party and the house was more than accommodating. Plenty of room for everyone to have privacy, but plenty of areas to get together and play games and hang out as well! Everything we needed was there! We will probably stay again next year!!

There are so many good things to say about our experience in this home that I am not sure where to begin. First, Greg and Doris are so friendly and welcoming. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The house itself is huge and even though it is accurately described, it is much bigger than I expected so we had plenty of space. Having four rooms allowed us four guys to spread out and have our own room as we were in town to see the Vikings play. That reminds me of how perfectly situated this house is. It is about 15 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from the Metrodome, 15 minutes from downtown, and seemingly 15 minutes or less from everywhere we wanted to go. The price is VERY reasonable and you are just throwing your money away if you stay anywhere else. I highly recommend this vacation rental.

Spent first night alone but felt at home right away. Son had picked me up at airport, then we were joined by his fiance and we walked a few blocks to a malt shop for dinner on Doris' rec. Even though I am a vegetarian and the young couple are vegans, we all found something to eat that we enjoyed despite our self imposed restrictions. Shopping area within walking distance and I was able to use a child's stroller I found in the hall closet to transport a few bottles of wine from the huge liquor store. Within a few days we were a group of 6 adults and there were plenty of bedrooms to accommodate us. I baked 2 cakes for the rehearsal dinner and apparently had too much butter in the cheesecake crust which leaked out, causing the smoke alarms to go off. In addition to meeting some concerned neighbors, I got to see Doris and Greg in action. They got some fans up in the kitchen windows and turned off the alarms. Never did they make me feel uncomfortable or awkward for the commotion I caused. The cakes turned out fine for the dinner and there were plenty of serving pieces, plates, flatwear, glasses, etc for all the appetizers, food and drinks and plenty of room for all the guests. Downstairs was convenient as a play area for the children. The home is spotless, the beds comfortable, the neighborhood is lovely, couldn't ask for anything more. I'd love to stay there whenever I visit my son and new daughter in law and promise Doris and Greg I won't bake any more cakes. You will be very happy to stay here, we definitely were!

My husband and I have been doing vacation rentals for two decades and this is definitely at the top of the list of all the places we have stayed. Not only is the home itself a dream for a larger group wanting relaxing time together, but Greg and Doris also go out of their way to be fantastic hosts. After burdening them with an early check-in, they rewarded us by taking us out to the garden and pointing at the fat cucumbers ready to be picked and enjoyed--by us. We stayed there with 6 adults and 2 kids and there was enough space for everybody to sleep, and more. We even hosted a small BBQ for my cousin and her groom to be so that the family could get to know him. Greg and Doris were totally laid back about our having people there, and we couldn't have had a better time. My husband forgot his phone charger and Doris promptly mailed it out for him. Oh, and did I mention that they stock things other rentals don't: various toiletries, ample paper products, etc. There is an entire spice rack that has been accumulated through past guests, and a perfectly stocked kitchen to get the job done. The standard joke quickly became "I wonder if there is a [x]" followed by "of course there is." (paper towels at hand in the downstairs entertainment room, food processor, Qtips that we forgot, etc.) The area is absolutely beautiful, one of the nicest neighborhoods in Minneapolis, with plenty of parking and even a garage for guest use, which would come in very handy in the winter months. I can't say enough good things about our experience here, and hope that we'll be able to return one day!

Thank you for the incredible accommodations you provided at the "Parkway Beauty!" The house had absolutely everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was a great place to stay while visiting our family in the twin cities. We loved the bike path and the closeness to Lake Harriett. We can't wait to visit again!

We greatly enjoyed our stay this past weekend. Your home was the perfect setting for our family to celebrate our daughter's graduation. The home was extremely clean and the photos accurately reflected the home's appearance. Doris was very helpful with answering my questions prior to our arrival. Thank you, Doris and Greg!

Thank you for making your spacious and delightful house available to our family. We all felt very “at home.” The house itself is beautiful but practical and appropriate for adults and children alike. We enjoyed the location, walked and ran the Parkway and Lake Harriet. It is near Minnehaha Falls Park, only about 5 miles away, where we rented a pavilion where the space, wading pool, & playgrounds were just right for the extended family. Thanks again,Royce & Ruby, Orange Park, FL

We had a wonderful reunion with the Twin Cities - seeing friends, art, music, and just living. This neighborhood is amazing for biking and we took advantage of that. We celebrated our daughter’s birthday and enjoyed relaxing and feasting. Thanks for maintaining such a functional as well as beautiful home for wanderers!Karen

Your place was amazing. Our time here was a special bonding experience none of us will ever forget. Living on the parkway was a special treat that the two of you get to experience every day. We are grateful for our stay here, and will definitely be returning on our next visit to the Twin Cities.

Being country mice, we loved this oasis in the big city! It is very roomy, with four bedrooms (King & 3 Queens), as well as two twins in the family room and a sofa-bed in the TV room. Great group spaces, and quiet spots, too. The house is extremely clean, and includes many thoughtful amenities. You don't need to bring anything but your nightsuit. It is a 15 minute or less drive to the airport, Mall of America, and downtown Minneapolis. Just Great.

We really have enjoyed our stay in Minneapolis, the area where we are living, and especially the house! It's a wonderful house with a brand new kitchen. The rest of the house is very tastefully renovated and practically arranged. What you don't see from the outside is the lower part of the house. In there, nicely renovated, is a huge family room, two guest rooms, a bathroom and the washer and dryer. It offers a lot of space for kids to play around. The area as such is beautiful and offers a lot of opportunities for outdoor life. There is the creek with walking trails along the sides. It is only a 15 - 20 min. walk down to Lake Harriet. In the winter time you just put on your cross-country skis outside of the house and off you go! And last - we don't think it is possible to find better neighbors or landlords than Greg and Doris! We feel honored to have had the opportunity to live beside Greg and Doris and having stayed in their wonderful house on 806 W Minnehaha parkway.
