Come unwind and relax in our charming,beautifully decorated four bedroom, 3.5 bath cottage with beautiful mountain views in Big Canoe, a gated mountain community set in the serene foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This spacious yet cozy cottage was recently redecorated in Southern Living style making it a true home away from home. The home backs up to a mountain stream and the Big Canoe hiking trail system. A path from the back door of our home leads you to the Jeep Trail, one of the most popular hiking trails in Big Canoe, which leads to the Lower and Upper Falls, all a short hike away. Another trail leads to Lake Disharoon and the pool.
On the main level are two master suites, each with its own private bath; one with a loft with a twin daybed and mountain view; the other with a private porch. The two master suites are separated by a bright, cheery sunroom with sky lights and screened openings on both sides providing a breath of fresh mountain air indoors. Take in the mountain views from the den with exposed beams and wall of windows, the deck (perfect for al fresco dining), or the screened porch. Should you want to really experience the cool mountain evenings, pull out the futon on the screened porch, turn on the TV outside and sleep in the great outdoors (with all the comforts of home just a few feet away). The kitchen is well stocked (it has to be in order to accomodate our family of seven) so that just about everything you want or need (crock pot, blender, mixer, etc.) is there.
Downstairs is a second den providing another place to cozy up in front of the home's second stone fireplace. Also enjoy the DVD player, X Box and video games for the kids and mini bar including a mini fridge, sink and microwave, perfect for popping popcorn before settling down for a movie. The downstairs den and bedroom suite both open onto the lower deck.
Big Canoe is a remarkable community offering fishing, canoeing, golf, tennis, swimming, paddle boats, hiking and just about every other outdoor activity you can think of. All of this in the serenity of the mountains and only slightly more than a one hour drive from downtown Atlanta.
With its beautiful decor, proximity to the hiking trails and amenities, mountain view and private location on a quiet cul de sac, this cottage has it all. The privacy of the home and gorgeous mountain view truly make you feel like you are getting away. We have tried to do the little things to make this house and your rental experience special and trouble free. We rented other Big Canoe properties prior to renting our home out own so that we could see what was missing and make sure we provided everything our guests would need.

$270/night (three night minimum)
50% of total rental due upon booking; remainder due 7 days prior
to arrival. $200 security deposit refundable after inspection.
