I arrived at this casita with lots of expectations because I lived in Albuquerque for years and have also rented other places in Old Town. It is beautiful, clean and very well appointed. Lovely linens, a fabulously comfortable bed and TONS of towels, which I love. The Rain Shower in the ensuite bath is lovely. The entire place has been lovingly restored, with original features and modern touches interfacing very well. The owner has provided brochures and menus from all over town which have great information for those new to the area. But all you have to do is look out the front gate and you see several museums, a wonderful park across the street, and the gate to Old Town down a bit to the West. And to the East? The breathtaking Sandia Mountains.. It is two blocks from Old Town-the heart and soul of Albuquerque wth many art galleries, places to eat and shops full of intriguing items. One of my favorite clothing stores is there-. . Good restaurants abound. I had no car because I knew I could walk to a lot of places and the busses and cabs are very reasonable. If you want to you can take the bus downtown, hop the Rail Runner train and be in Santa Fe in an hour. WAY better than driving, and it costs 8.00 round trip! After a long day out, coming home to the quiet and comfort of the casita is great.. Lots of games there, lots of DVD's, two hd televisions .Old Town is a quiet and safe area but the casita has very good locks and security, which always feels good in a new place. Thank you, Bonney, for a lovely stay. I will be back...

This home was a wonderful home to stay in for my husband, mother-in-law and myself. The house was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Close enough to Old Town to walk easily. The park across the street was beautiful and I enjoyed walking there in the morning. ABQ is a great city and we enjoyed staying here. The location was great and not a far drive to any attractions. Would gladly stay there again.

This place was great! Very cute and clean. The shower was fabulous. Location is excellent, next to a park and museums and very close to old town. The yard/porch was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the NM weather.

Four of us stayed here for a conference in ABQ. The house was a great combination of old-style Albuquerque and modern convenience at the same time. The homeowner has clearly put a lot of energy into making this place comfortable. I love the stove! It is in a great location - across from a park and very close to the Old Town Plaza. It was comfortable for four adults and I would definitely stay here again.

Great location! We had a great time in this place when attending a conference downtown. It's right across from a beautiful park and near Old Town shops and restaurants. A little rough around the edges, but the bedroom, living space, kitchen and bathrooms were all in great condition and very comfortable.
Owner response:Matt, I don't know what you mean by a little rough around the edges. I hope it means quaint and homey as I spent so much money renovating the adobe to its original style.

The house was beautiful and perfectly located in Old Town, near a museum, close to Down Town, and right across the street from a park. If you are interested in I would strongly recommend visiting this house and enjoying yourself.
