Why the Owner Chose Point Pleasant
We decided to buy our condo in Point Pleasant because we just fell in love with the resort, the beautiful view that we have from our condo and the easy access to the ocean right form our resort. We are planning on retiring here in a few years, and we will have easy access to our boat when it is moored in Water Bay, right below our condo. We find that the people living in St-Thomas are very nice and friendly. The Virgin Islands offer such beautiful scenery, easy sailing and year round great weather, we just could not pass this opportunity to own a piece of Paradise!! We named our condo La Dolce Vita for "The Sweet Life" we will have when we live down here!!!
Our beautiful condo, La Dolce Vita is located in Point Pleasant resort.
Located in Smith Bay Park, only one mile East of Point Pleasant resort. A beautiful wild Beach.

My wife and I love the outdoors and travelling.
We especially like travelling down South and being close to the ocean.
We enjoy the beach, boating, snorkeling and fishing also.
We plan on spending a great deal of time in St-Thomas when we retire.

WE LOVED OUR STAY!!

We stayed here for 8 nights in January. The condo was just great. It was nice and clean, very well decorated, and fully equipped. The view from the condo is fantastic!! The owner provided everything we needed for the beach. Having dinner at the condo, with some fine wine, was just most enjoyable. We loved the resort, the staff was friendly, the environment is lush and the 3 pools were nice and clean. The lower pool and the middle pool offer fantastic views. The resort is close to Red Hook where we did our groceries. We also went out for dinner a few evenings in the various restaurants over there. The Beaches in St-Thomas are just beautiful, the water is turquoise and calm. We also went to St-John's Trunk Bay, this was one of the highlights of our trip. We definitely recommend this condo and we will return soon. The owner is very nice and helpful and so is their Manager in St-Thomas. Thank you for letting us stay at your place, Liz

Me, my husband and my 2 year old son lived at Jacques' apartment for a couple nights and enjoyed living there. It really felt like home, and the views from the balcony were awesome. We had our breakfast, lunch and dinner outside in the well-equipped balcony. With all the travel restrictions now-a-days, we were glad to have the beach towels & chairs, umbrella and beach toys too at our disposal in the apartment. The manager, Ms. Bernadette was very helpful too, when I called her for some basic necessities, she made sure she brought them to me soon. The facilities on the campus were really good too...the pools, restaurants, activity center and the beach. All in all, we had fun living at this place in our limited stay in St. Thomas and will love to come back here. Thanks for lending it, Jacques.

While our specific unit was in a nice location, and we had the advantage of lovely sea breezes, the pull out couch was awful. The entire property is not in any was spiffy. Both resturants (a good reason to stay) were closed. Thank goodness, however, we were close to Red Hook. It is a nice town and far, far, far better than staying anywhere near Charoltte Amalie. The owner is very nice and very responsive. The price was right and we loved the physical location. A rental car is required. We explored the entire island and hopped to all the other ones. Fun time!

My friend and I stayed at this condo for 4 nights and had a great time at USVI. The place is quiet and has a really nice view. I really enjoying sitting at the balcony, watching the sunrise (I did get up that early once...) and having breakfast. There are plenty of trees, which keeps the condo cool for most of the time. When arriving at the condo, we were surprised to see the condo has almost everything we need--beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling gears, a lot of DVDs and CDs, etc. We cooked for a couple of times--very convenient, and we also enjoyed the juice and rum in the fridge when we arrive. Just a reminder, there are mosquitoes though, as is true anywhere else on the island....With bug spray, you'll be fine. Just be careful when you open the door... I wish I could go back soon. :)

A perfect condo for a long stay as we "lived" there for three weeks. All the comforts of home includig DVDs, CDs, books, travel guides and all kinds of beach gear. We especially enjoyed the ability to send a shopping list to the owners and the items were there when we arrived. After a full day of traveling, it was nice to sit down with a snack and a local rum drink! We especially enjoyed grilling outside and eating on the patio, while overlooking the ocean and watching the sunset. We were there when Hurrican Earl came through and felt safe the entire time. The workers at the resort actually came by to assist in closing the hurricane doors and shutters. The property manager called to check on us twice and we had a generator. A perfect place for a couple to just get away from life and relax!

We stayed at the condo in July for 10 nights(2 adults & 2 children). We found Point Pleasant to be a great location & the condo has a fabulous view. You can get to Red Hook, Megan's Bay or Downtown in just minutes. The condo has a great setup for a couple or a small family and has everything needed plus little extras like lots of towels (bath & beach), beach toys/chairs & lots of information on the islands. We fell in love with Point Pleasant and the islands and can't wait to return.

We loved it very much at La DOlce Vita and we plan on going back next summer. Eveything is very convenient. The condo is very clean, well maintain, new furniture, view fantastic and we loved eating at Fungi's next to the ocean and the Agave is one of the best restaurant in St-Thomas. We had a great time staying here and we recommand it strongly.

04/04-04/11/09 - Rented this condo, along with the one through the connecting balcony, from Juliet (condo manager). This condo is the perfect size for a small family. (We had 2 adults and 1 baby). The views were wonderful. Condo was clean and furnishings were more than sufficient, which was nice because the baby didn't like the beach as much as we had hoped. We would recommend this condo to anyone.
