Located at milepost 8 1/4, exactly 1/2 a mile from the Wright Brothers Memorial--you are in the center of it all!
Read on to find out why this is the WRIGHT HOUSE for you:
On the 1st level you'll find the game room with pool table leading out to your 1st oceanfront deck (which also leads to the outdoor pool & your private beach access). In the game room you'll find the wet bar, full size refrigerator with icemaker, 2 TVs, a DVD/VCR, & sofa. There is also a 1/2 bath which leads from the game room area to the oceanfront deck.
You'll also find a great bedroom for the kids---a bedroom with bunk beds located on each wall as well as a bedroom with a queen bed. There is also a full bath located on this floor.
On the 2nd floor you'll find your 2nd oceanfront deck as well as the hot tub with great oceanviews! 2 of my favorite bedrooms are located on this floor with great views of the ocean. They are master bedroom sized with a king bed. One of these bedrooms has the handicap friendly bath.
On this floor you also will find the bedroom with 2 twin beds as well as 2 other bedrooms with a queen bed. There are 3 other full baths located on this floor as well as the washer/dryer.
The 3rd floor features the spacious, open Great Room area with gas fireplace and fabulous ocean views. You don't have to go outside to see the ocean when you're in this room! This floor features the 3rd oceanfront deck with outdoor furniture. The Great Room features a large screen TV with DVD player.
The well-equipped kitchen features an oversize refrigerator, 2 stoves/ovens, 2 microwaves, 2 coffeemakers, and PLENTY of cookware, dinnerware, & silverware. There is also a wet bar with ice maker on this level as well as a 1/2 bath.
The Master Suite is found on this level with a king bed and an a Jacuzzi bath. The suite features a great view of the Wright Brothers Memorial.
There is free hi speed wireless internet in the Wright House as well as a fax machine, in case business follows you to the Outer Banks. There is a dunetop deck with seating located between the house and the ocean. This is a great place for less mobile members of your family to sit and enjoy the beach. The outdoor pool is open seasonally and may be heated for an additional fee.
If for some wild reason you feel the need for other activities, then you'll enjoy your FREE YMCA pass (must check it out daily at our front desk) during your stay! You'll enjoy all the amenities the Y has to offer--including a skate park for those skateboarders in your family.
