Welcome to 'TIPS UP' condo! You can't help but feel right at home in this beautifully renovated 2BR/2BA SKI-OUT townhouse located in the Shamrock community. Our privately owned unit is completely updated and is considered a GOLD-rated unit by Snowshoe. Ski out your back door right down to the slopes and then come back in the evening to relax in front of a warm fire and enjoy a home-cooked meal in our fully stocked kitchen (or head out to enjoy a bit of the Snowshoe nightlife!). If you choose to rent our unit, we promise you a CLEAN and comfortable piece of WV heaven.
Our unit is a 2-story 2BR/2BA, with private entrance and private parking right in front of the unit. The downstairs level was completely remodeled this summer (2011) and now features a completely updated (and stocked!) kitchen with quartz countertops, eating area, living room with a QUEEN SLEEPER/ SOFA, 42" flat screen tv, and a beautiful new wood-burning fireplace. The heated mudroom (also completely rennovated in 2011) is the perfect place to take off and store all of your ski gear after a day on the slopes. Off of the kitchen on the lower level is a full bath, washer/dryer, and a bedroom with a new QUEEN SIZE BED with pull-out TWIN TRUNDLE (perfect for children!). The upstairs level of the unit has one bedroom with a QUEEN SIZE BED, large closet, and one full bath. Linens and towels are all provided. New carpet was added in Summer 2010, along with new Serta "Reserve" Ultra Soft Pillowtop queen mattresses in both the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms - these mattresses are like a little piece of heaven after a long day on the slopes!
IF you want to stay connected, there is high speed cable modem with wireless internet access and a phone for incoming phone calls. With a calling card, you can also place out-going calls.
The Shamrock complex itself just finished a complete exterior renovation project, including new mudrooms, roofing and siding. The new mudrooms are a perfect place to securely store all your outside gear (skis, boots, bikes, etc), opening up a lot of space inside the condo itself. In short, the place looks great! The Shamrock complex is located just on the other side of Wistlepunk, and is just a very short walk to the village (5 min) but at the same time allows you to truly enjoy the quiet solitude of the mountains. Deer gather regularly outside the back deck and love to snack on everything from corn to Fritos! All of this with ski-out access too!

The listing description is perfect! It is cute, clean, and comfortable. The pictures shown are exactly what you can expect to see. The condo is very well maintained and cared for. The decor makes you feel right at home. There are many personal touches and pictures that make it feel more like a home rather than somewhere that you are renting. Great access to the slopes! We had the pleasure of meeting the owners as we arrived at the condo. They were super friendly and very welcoming. We were also greeted by deer at the back door at breakfast, lunch, and dinner time. It was amazing. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the linens were great. This was our third year in a row visiting Snowshoe and we plan on continuing to visit. This was our first stay at this particular condo and it definitely will not be our last. It is our favorite by far! We will continue to return as long as the owners are accepting renters. Jen was a pleasure to do business with. She returns all emails and phone calls very promptly. Actually, I think we were just able to get her on the phone whenever we called! All of the paperwork she provides for the condo is very detailed, so there is virtually no room for any additional questions. We can't wait to return!

My family and I just returned from a 4 night stay at this condo. It was exactly as described and we had a great time. We brought food and cooked all of our meals in the condo. Really enjoyed using the wood burning fireplace and feeding the deer in the backyard. The beds were super comfy. We loved being able to ski in and out right from the condo and also enjoyed the convenience of the shuttle service available throughout the town. If anyone wants to learn to ski or snowboard, the lessons at Snowshoe are great. If you pay for one lesson, they give you another free lesson everyday that you are there (assuming you want that many). It's a great way to learn quickly. Jen was great to work with and very responsive to all my questions. I highly recommend this unit. Hope to get back again soon. Thanks for a great time.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. Access to the trails was unbeatable, although expect a little extra effort getting back to the condo, but definitely worth it for such a great location. The owner takes very good care of the condo and it comfortably slept the 4 of us.

A group of us go to SS every year for NYE weekend. The place was perfect and clean and NOT outdated which is great! Not only was the place great but the owners were awesome too.... Jen was very responsive and answered all of my questions promptly. We will definitely be returning!

We rented this wonderful condo for the Thanksgiving holiday and although the resort was unfortunately not able to open the mountain for skiing we had a great time! Renovated, lovely kitchen was stocked and we were able to cook a full size turkey and the rest of our Thanksgiving spread. Fireplace and stocked firewood was awesome and you are sure to see many deer in the backyard. Spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and with many thoughtful touches (my kids loved the Bath & Body Works soap :)). We are hoping to stay here again very soon!!!

Getting away from the Hurricane

We decided to head west to avoid Hurricane Irene and decided to give Snowshoe a shot. This was our first trip up there outside of the winter season, we will definitely be back! The condo was great, it was a short walk to the village, and it was the perfect size for our family. The owners were great and very accommodating. We made contact and we staying in the condo in under 24 hours! We will be back!
