  Although we did enjoy the stay the week we were there, little did we know it would be a total nightmare when we left !!! Words of advice--take pictures of the unit when checking in and out! Towel was left with vomit on it under the master bathroom sink from the previous guest, table in front of the couch broken, lounge chairs on balcony not sturdy and broken, glass on the floor in 2 rooms, Entertainment center and TV in a master bedroom broken/cheaply repaired that could be an injury waiting to happen. Now we are being accused of much more damage and missing items! Accused of leaving a broken vase on the dining room table, although when we left, it was in one piece. Accused of taking the vacuum and toaster, although we had to clean hair clogs and sand from the vacuum before we could use it and used the toaster the morning we left. Accused of breaking a bed frame and placing a cooler under it for support, which was not caused by us. I have rented through VRBO for the past 3 visits to PCB and have never had an issue until now. View was gorgeous and the master bed was very comfortable! At this point, these are the only positive comments. Parking was difficult to get into, if no one else was parking in your place, and across the street was pot luck. I was fortunate enough to have a handicapped parking tag that allowed me parking right across the street. The security guard was a little over zealous. Because of a sunburn, my husband and son had to cut off their orange band due to swelling and was continuously stopped asking for their band--even though you could see where it was on them before the sunburn and by the same man! Never could find an attendant in the lower level office. Definitely would not recommend this unit to anyone unless you are ok with being blamed and charged for damage you were not responsible for! We had 2 families that stayed in this unit with 8 kids and had enough room. Very disappointed with the management and the accusations of damage. Glad we purchased the travel insurance, but I definitely feel because we did, we are the ones footing the bill for the damage caused by others. Would NEVER recommend this unit to anyone after the hell we are going through!

  Owner response: Like the country song says - "it is a two story house". The guests, (two families), had no issues until they checked out and were immediately notified of losing their deposit due to damages to the condo. Their reply - "liar, thief". No one wins when a deposit is retained and we haven't done so before now. We did send the guests several photos of the damages. Our vacation home and our guests mean a lot to us. We supply local contact information for housekeeping, maintenance and guest services. None we contacted by these guests for any issues during their stay. Very disappointing review as we have had hundreds of happy guests in this condo over the years.

  The view from the HUGE balcony was amazing. You could see for miles. The condo is large and there is plenty of room. Especially liked that everyone had a bathroom. The condo itself is very nice. Could use a new paint job and new carpet. If you have read travel reviews about the building having elevator and parking issues, take note, THE PARKING IS HORRIBLE! THE ELEVATORS ARE SLOW AND THERE ARE MAINTENANCE PROBLEMS WITH THEM! The best thing to do with the parking is to park across the street in the public parking lot. The spaces are much bigger and you don't have to worry about someone taking your spot. Our parking spot stayed occupied by someone other than us the whole time. There needs to be more elevators in the building. It's a long walk down and up from the 23rd floor!!! Renting beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach was easy. We had to clean the condo when we got there. Housekeeping didn't clean glass at all. The appliances were dirty but I didn't go there to cook anyway!!! All in all the condo was nice. LOVED THE VIEW!!! THAT BALCONY IS VERY VERY LARGE!!!! There was plenty of seating out there too!!!! Spent most of our time out there enjoying the view!!! Enjoyed that we didn't have to check in at a front desk so there was no waiting. There were only 2 luggage carts so we had to wait a little bit for them. The best place we found to eat was Breakers. Pineapple Willy's was way overrated. Dick's Last Resort was awful. Had to wait for food for 1 1/2 hours. Pompanos was o.k. We had a good stay overall.

  Myself and some of my sorority sisters stayed in this beautiful condo for our spring break this year. I would recommend this to any vacationer! The condo was very clean and well kept. We actually met the cleaning lady upon arrival and she was nothing but nice to all of us. We had great communication from the owner with any questions or problems that arose. The photos do not do the condo justice, it is huge and very well decorated. The balcony was our favorite place to hang out. Had a fantastic trip!!!

  We actually stayed here in June 2009. I must say it was one of the best vacations we've ever had! My family of 4 and our friends, a family of 5, enjoyed the immense amount of room in this very clean and well-maintained condo - the pictures really don't do it justice. The furnishings were great, the bedrooms very comfortable, and each bedroom had its own bathroom - with 2 families, we couldn't have asked for a better set-up. Our kids range from ages 5-16. Even when we were all in for the evening, we never felt as if we were on top of each other - it's that big. Oh, and the patio is huge with an awesome view. The location is right in the middle of everything! The owner and realtor were very accomodating and easy to work with. I highly recommend this property - you will not be disappointed!!
