Black Bear Lodge is Located About 90 Yards from the West Wall Lift. It is a 25 Unit New Luxury Complex with a Heated Covered Garage; Outdoor Hot Tub; a Large Lodge Room with a TV and Fireplace.
This Three Bedroom, Three Bath Corner Unit Unit Sleeps 8. The Private Master Bedroom with a King Bed and a Jacuzzi Tub is Located Upstairs. The Other Two Downstairs Bedrooms Have Their Own Connected Bathrooms and Queen Beds. All Bedrooms Have Their Own TV and the Den Has a Flat Screen TV. The Kitchen Has Knotty Alder Cabinets, Granite Countertops and a Raised Bar Top with Seating. The Living Room Has a Comfortable Leather Sleeper Sofa and Vaulted Ceilings and a Fireplace. The condo was very comfortable, well furnished, and tastefully decorated. We felt at home and enjoyed our stay. Its central location on the mountain made it convenient to everything and being on the corner of the building offered nice vistas and views of surroundings. We kept the thermostat on 50, as instructed, and were fascinated by how comfortable the floor heating system made the condo. My granddaughter looked forward to the hot tub on the first floor deck area with her friends, who stayed in other Black Bear condos, at the end of each day. Basement parking was easy, efficient, and convenient, too. The week we stayed in Crested Butte is a very good time to go, as we didn't have to wait in line to get into restaurants or on ski lifts, for example. Also, we loved the outdoor fire pits at the hotel and enjoyed visiting with folks from all over the world. Crested Butte is a friendly, beautiful area, and we hope to return in the summer for the wildflower festival and some hiking. Thanks again, LD-AR

We had a wonderful stay in CB this year. The accomdations were great. A short walk across the street to the lifts. Hope to stay there in the future.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children.
