Our area is called Mala Strana -the oldest and most charming in Prague. It boasts the best architecture in Prague and has far less touristy crowds.
You can stroll the cobbled streets or walk through the nearby park or along Vltava River. Then come home to rest in our comfortable Prague apartment.
It is furnished with a tasteful blend of antiques and modern furniture. It has a full kitchen for self-catering. It is perfect for a romantic or family getaway.

This two-bedroom apartment has quite large rooms and is well equipped. Food, beer, coffee, etc. was easy to find at the market on the corner and at several reasonable restaurants in the neighborhood (including the "Hunger Wall"). The agent, Dean, was very responsive via email before we arrived, and the on-sight landlord/owner, Zeki, was exceptionally available and responsive. For example, after hearing of our misadventures trying to find a way to ship unneeded stuff home, he took it to the post office for us! The driver Zeki arranged to pick us up at the train station rather late in the evening we arrived was also very helpful. The location is exceptionally convenient and was not at all touristy. We highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay again. Note - even in cold, foggy November, we could sometimes hear people at the little cafe/bar downstairs, but it was not a deal breaker.

We stayed in this lovely period apartment for three days. It was nicely furnished, containing everything one would need to make themselves comfortable. The proprietors were extremely helpful, pleasant and accommodating. The suite itself is ideally situated. Across the river from old town, and under the castle. We walked or road the handy trams everywhere. found nice restaurants along the river. It was pet friendly,and had two parks were within a block of the flat. The apartment is big and airy and in a good location in the Little city, close to trams and subways, restaurants, etc. I would not recommend the 2nd. floor apartment in the summer because it is right above an outdoor cafe and people were outside up to four am, on weekdays, drinking, talking, laughing outside. Because there is no AC, you have to open your windows for ventilation, which means that the noise is so great that you cannot sleep. The landlord, however was wonderful. I emailed him about how noisy it was and he moved us the next day to the 4th. floor apartment and supplied fans for both bedrooms to drown out any noise that we might hear. Then he provided a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine as an apology and offered to pay for our cab fare to the airport when we left! The higher floor apartment and the fans did the trick and we slept comfortably from then on. As we all know when we travel, unforeseen problems arise and it was the responsiveness and concern of the landlord that turned this into a great Prague experience.
