Escape to the beach and enjoy vacationing with us along the Emerald Coast of the Florida Panhandle. Resting on a 10-acre site on Okaloosa Island in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida with 490 feet of beachfront is Fort Walton Beach's newest luxury resort - Waterscape. Boasting its own LAZY River, 10-foot-tall waterfall, beautiful Gulf side pool, game room, conference room, gazebo, fitness and so much more, Waterscape is an incredible destination for your next family vacation, business retreat or any reason to visit the coast!
The fitness room at Waterscape is wonderful, it is located by the pools and has plenty of cardio & fitness equipment to keep you in shape during your stay.
The pool area at Waterscape is amazing, you have to see it to appreciate it. They have several pools on different levels, childrens splash play areas & most interesting to me, the lily pads. I have been tempted to try out the lily pads they look like SO much fun. Maybe when no one is around, however the pool is so popular it might take a while! The lazy river is on my "to do" too, I will try it next time I'm in the area. I'm sure it is totally relaxing.
Our unit has a fully equipped kitchen to assist you in preparing meals during your visit. If you do dine out here are a few choices...
My personal favorite is Old Bay Steamer, they specialize in steamed seafood. They also offer pasta & steaks too. The best pizza on the Island can be found at Helen Back. You can pick up their pizza to go or enjoy the back patio on the water. I recommend sitting on the patio and enjoying the view of the sound.
Pandora's offers Steak, Seafood & Prime Rib along with an Wine Spectator award winning wine list.

Just to the East of Waterscape is the Boardwalk & the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier. The fishing pier stretches 1262 out in to the water and has a octagon at the end to insure all fisherman have plenty of elbow room. Rod Rental & refreshments are also available at the fishing pier. If you don't fish you will still enjoy the sunsets & watching the dolphins. The Boardwalk is the home to the Swamp & Howl at the Moon, I'm sure one of the two will fill your evening entertainment needs. They also have several restaurants here, the Black Pearl, The Crab Trap & Floyds. The Black Pearl was very good the last time I went. It's a little on the upscale side. The view of the beach was wonderful too. Several sand volleyball courts are located here too... It's always fun to get a game going with other visitors to the area.
The Gulfarium is a must visit during your stay. They have dolphin shows almost continuously throughout the day. You also will have the opportunity to visit with other sea life such as penguins & sea otters, they are so cute! Main Street in Ft. Walton Beach offers unique shopping and dining along the main strip of Ft. Walton. You will find Coca-Cola memorabilia, adorable children’s clothes, souvenirs to take back home and more. Check out the bistro on the corner, their food is wonderful.
