Escape to the beach and enjoy vacationing with us along the Emerald Coast of the Florida Panhandle. This beautiful Azure condominium boasts Mediterranean architecture as it rests with 515 feet of beach front on the Gulf of Mexico.
Also overlooking our emerald and blue waters are the two gulf front swimming pools and large sundecks. With lots of amenities, this gorgeous property is an absolute must to see and stay.
When you dine out on Okaloosa Island, make sure to visit Old Bay Steamer. This restaurant is one of our favorites on the Island. They offer steamed seafood by the bucket full, lobster tails, snow crab, king crab & shrimp are the contents of one of their buckets for two. Prepare to get messy enjoying your meal; they often tie bibs around their patrons’ necks. They also offer pasta & steaks for the non-seafood lovers. We always make a point to eat here during our stays in Ft. Walton Beach. It's just across the street from Azure.
The original Fudpuckers Bar & Grill is also close by to Azure. Fudpuckers opened in Fort Walton Beach on Okaloosa Island in 1986 and has become a favorite for visitors & locals alike. We enjoy the live music at Fudpuckers; the younger ones in your group will enjoy the playground too.
For the best pizza on the Island Helen Back definitely delivers. This bar/restaurant is located on the sound and has a nice outdoor patio where you can enjoy your pizza if you dine in instead of picking the pizza up. We always enjoy sitting outside at Helen Back.

What to do in Ft. Walton when you are not enjoying the beach...
Try your hand at catching a 100 lb fish at the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier. The pier is 1262 ft long and has an octagon at the end so everyone has room to fish. If you are not in to fishing you can enjoy wonderful sunsets at the pier and also get a chance to see dolphins. If you didn't bring your rod & reel, don't worry, you may rent one there.
One of my favorite things to do is going parasailing. Sun Dogs parasailing on Okaloosa Island offers this service for the area. The views are wonderful & the ride is exhilarating.
Main Street in Ft. Walton Beach offers unique shopping and dining along the main strip of Ft. Walton. You will find Coca-Cola memorabilia, adorable children’s clothes, souvenirs to take back home and more. Check out the bistro on the corner, their food is wonderful.
Visit the Gulfarium and visit all sorts of marine life such as seals, sea lions, sharks, alligators, penguins and more. They have almost continuous dolphin shows throughout the day.
During your stay in Ft. Walton Beach, visit Destin too, it's only 6 miles away...
Enjoy great shopping at the Destin Commons outdoor mall. You will enjoy such great stores as Abercrombie & Fitch, Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, Belk, Books-A-Million & Maui Nix Surf Shop to rattle off a few. Stop for a bite to eat at the Hard Rock Café, Panera Bread, Tony’s Ristorante or Sushi Siam. More than just shopping the Destin Commons Center Plaza offers a soft-play kids playground and a 49-head pop fountain. Community activities and entertainment are held through the year at Destin Commons. Rave Motion Pictures is also housed at Destin Commons to catch the latest releases.
Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resorts offers wonderful dining and specialty stores as well as great festivals & events that are held at the Market Shops Green or the Center Plaza within the Village.
Grande Boulevard offers stores such as Billabong, Brooks Brothers Country Club, Coldwater Creek, J. Crew-at-the-beach, Sunglass Hut, & Tommy Bahamas’ Emporium as well as great dining at Tommy Bahamas’ , Fleming’s, Cantina Laredo (If you dine here sit outside to enjoy the fountain!) & Mitchell’s Fish Market.
