This is our home - FULL TIME! As our home, our belongings, clothing, books, food and everything stays in place. If you are looking for a rental that is not personal, this is not the home for you! We leave our food and drink in the refrigerator. You may use our belongings; please be respectful. We understand that when you are traveling you don't want to buy staples; you may use ours.
Short walk to U Street nightlife, jazz and metro stop as well as DuPont Circle and DuPont Circle metro. Walk to local grocery stores, cafés and excellent dining.
17 acre park 1/2 block - Meridian Hill Park for walking, jogging or just enjoying a picnic!

$400 security deposit; arrival between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Departure is 11 a.m

You may clean, do all laundry and change linens yourself prior to departure
or pay me $200 for my cleaning person; please allow enough time to do laundry!
Price may vary for holidays/special events.
Receipt of your 50% payment plus $400 security deposit secures your dates;
balance due at least 30 days prior to reservation.

This place was fabulous! The views from the private rooftop terrace are wonderful! The location/proximity to all of the museums/sites of Washington D.C. was perfect. The space was large enough to accommodate our whole family - three bedrooms each with a separate bath. Gail & Norman were great to work with.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

My husband and I stayed at this property with two other couples for four days during the cherry blossom season. The apartment is well appointed with all of the standard amenities and the space more than comfortably accommodated our group of 6. The floor to ceiling panoramic view of the skyline was absolutely magnificent – we enjoyed a private viewing of the cherry blossom fireworks from the comfort of "our" livingroom - and the apartment generally spectacular. We very much appreciated being able to escape the busy downtown core after a day of sightseeing to enjoy the restaurants and bars five minutes away on U street. Transit and groceries are all easily accessible by either car or by foot. If you are looking for a nice dinning experiance Agora (tapas) shouldn't be missed. It is located in Dupont - walking distance from the unit. I would not hesitate to recommend this rental.

I cannot recommend this property. It did not appear to have been cleaned in quite a while. The furniture was unconfortable and the microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot needed to be readied for visitors. This place has a so so location...one does need to walk a bit for coffee in the am and a taxi or metro is a must for going into DC proper....i would not visit this condo again.
Owner response:We were shocked when this review came in and immediately changed cleaning companies! We request that all of our guests let us know immediately if they are displeased about anything; unfortunately, these guests did not do that. We have worked with vrbo for years and have always had satisfied guests!
