High above it all, Eagles Rest offers the best of all worlds – a secluded mountain top setting one mile from Ruidoso's shopping and restaurant district and 15-20 minutes from Ski Apache. Whether it is the allure of the mountains, the area casinos, horse racing or snow skiing, Eagles Rest is the perfect home for your Ruidoso getaway.

This contemporary Santa Fe style new home is situated high in the Black Forest area of Ruidoso with sweeping views of Sierra Blanca and the Lincoln National Forest. The main living area is beautifully furnished with leather sofa and chairs, dining table that seats six, and a wall-mounted flat screen TV. The master bedroom has king size bed, a private master bath, and another deck with more views of Sierra Blanca. A second king bedroom (which may be separated into two twin beds with advance coordination) has a full bath across the hall. A comfortable year-round atmosphere is maintained with air conditioning and heating controls on both levels, and a cozy kiva fire place on the main level.

While lounging on either of the two decks, enjoy the solitude and scenery of the Lincoln National Forest. Deer, elk, and even wild turkeys, commonly forage the forest below the decks and the night sky will unveil an astonishing universe of stars seldom seen from the city. If you must work while away from home the house has a high-speed Wi-Fi connection.

* Sleeps 4 in beds and guests may bring their own sleeping bags to accommodate up to two more guests if desired.
