Looking for a cozy retreat for writing books, sabbaticals, family or friendship gatherings - you will be sure to find it at my custom built 2245 sq ft home. This mountain home sits on 2 acres surrounded by Pike National Forest with a trout stream on property, that can be heard all night long. I built this spirit space, to restore and inspire laughter and personal peacefulness. Every room is designed to experience breath-taking outdoor views of pine trees, blue skies, red rock formations and black velvet nights. Even as I move onto professional work traveling internationally far and wide - this home lingers in my heart, and I accept that it is time to share this special space with others.
Enjoy a finished lower level open to the stream and mountain views. There are three bedrooms - sleeps six with three beds in three separate private areas (2 queen sized beds PLUS 1 queen aero RAISED bed-heigh); two full baths with lots of extras, like having a Jacuzzi bath or taking a luxurious steam shower; pristine white-washed pine woodwork throughout; full kitchen and laundry room; new outdoor gas grill; and three levels of decks galore provide plenty of room for everyone to have privacy as well as lots of relaxation and fun with other guests. The master bedroom loft has skylights that let the stars and moon bath sleepers all night long.
Landscaped steps take you down to the stream with hammocks, sky chairs, and a stream ready to hike in on those lazy days of outdoor pleasure. Make your own fun - cook in a kitchen with gorgeous floor-to-ceiling window views, grill on the decks, rest, fish, hike the streams or mountains, play, read or soak into connecting with yourself or loved ones in memorable ways when you choose this one-of-a-kind stunning setting.
Even though this gated community has a number of full time and part time residents - as the first lot location - my home is green-belted by Pike National Forest - giving every angle from the windows views extreme privacy and the feel of total serenity and solitude.
Located 20 miles north of Woodland Park CO along Hwy 67 (Located near Deckers even though addressed through the post office of Sedalia, CO)- this area is known for its three gold metal trout stream. And urban amenities are less than 30 minutes away, an hour from Colorado Springs or an hour + from Denver.
