Welcome to “Never a Dull Moment”! The name says it all for this fabulous and fun retreat on Smith Lake.
With five bedrooms and enough beds and sofas to sleep up to 19 people, there’s room for all your family and friends or would make a great corporate or church retreat. This incredible lake home on the main body of Rock Creek, features a covered double-decker boat dock with lounge chairs perfect for sunning, relaxing or jumping off into the clear deep waters of Smith Lake. Kids of all ages will love the kayaks. Inside you will find 4 bedrooms with queen and king beds, and a 5th room with 4 twin beds. The sleeping loft has 2 additional daybeds.
The great room with fireplace, soaring ceilings, large open kitchen and beautiful views of the lake adjoins with an additional sitting area. Down stairs a huge recreation room with a set of bunkbeds, card table, flat screen TV, fireplace and an open space for some inside games. The recreation room opens up to a large deck with a stainless drink cooler, and both gas and charcoal grills.
With so much to do, and so much room this is the perfect vacation and meeting spot.

The dock was by far the best feature. Kids loved jumping off the top. We were VERY unhappy when we reralized that there was no room in the dock to park our boat. We have never had this happen before. The ad was misleading and gave no indication that our boat would have to stay out in the weather. We will not be back. I will not recommend this property to anyone.

Our family of 16 just spent five nights in this lovely lakehouse home on Smith Lake. We had a wonderful time and the house fit our needs perfectly. The lake was beautiful and the kids had a ball jumping from the dock and using the kayaks. We caught tons of brim and a big old catfish right from the bank. We had plenty of space to play games in the evening and beds for all. There really was "Never a Dull Moment". We will definitely be back!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children.

This is the 3rd house I have rented on Smith Lake and easily my least favorite. Overpriced, needs maintainence, no inflatable (kids were very disappointed). There are better choices for about the same price.
