Nestled on a ridge overlooking the prestigious Waynesville Country Club and golf course is our recently renovated and remodeled Ivy Ridge duplex. This unit has two levels, the lower level has two bedrooms (each with a comfy queen bed!) and a full bath, the upper level has living room with futon, fully equipped kitchen (with washer and dryer), dining area and 1/2 bath. Each level has a deck with chairs, rocking chairs or picnic table. There are great mountain and golf views from the decks, cable tv and all the amenities of home.
Located just minutes from historic and beautiful downtown Waynesville where there is something for everyone - from shopping, to fine dining, to antique markets and country fairs. In addition, the amenities of Asheville, including the world-renowned Biltmore Estate and Gardens are within thirty miles. Access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and hiking trails is within minutes. Maggie Valley and Cherokee are just around the corner with traditional craft shops, an Indian village, ski (and snowboarding)slope, golf course, Ghost Town amusement park, bluegrass entertainment and of course...casinos!! The small towns of Frankin, Dillsboro and Sylva are within an hour's scenic drive and offer additional antique shopping, dining, gem mining and train rides. Day trips are a must!
Experience a drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, hike nearby trails, fish trout streams, enjoy a round of golf -- or just kick back and rock on the porch. Summer is here and Mother Nature is really showing off! The mountains are glorious and the weather is great. The days are warm and the nights are pleasantly cool.
