If you are looking for a nice, secluded get-a-way then you need not search any further. We had such a relaxing time while living with all the comforts of home and more! The house is so nice and the furnishings better than a five star hotel. The rates were extremely reasonable for what you get and there is plenty of recreation to be had no matter what you like to do! I can't wait to go back someday! Thank you!
Owner response:Thank You so much, Mike and Lori, for your great review! We really appreciate the comments. Hope you will return. Margot Belden

My husband and two kids (4 y.o. and 6 1/2 y.o.) rented this home over the 2010 holidays and had a great time. I grew up in MT and this location was a great place for extended family from Bozeman and Missoula to spend a night or two catching up and playing. This is our second week-long vacation in this area of Georgetown Lake and we will return here for years to come considering the access to Discovery Ski Area and crosscountry skiing outside the door are unbeatable. The home was fabulously stocked with all the comforts of home, offered amazing views and adequate space for all.
Owner response:Thank you so much Brit for your comments and a five-star rating. I am glad you had a great time and hope you will remember us for your next visit to Georgetown Lake/Discovery Ski area. Margot Belden

My family and a few friends stayed at this beautiful house for 4 days. It is located in the most beautiful setting with postcard views from every window. The home is furnished with the nicest furniture and decor, it was very comfortable and homey. The entire house was well stocked with all you might need for your stay. We spent our days boating on Georgetown Lake, but were so excited to get back to our home away from home to relax. It was so peaceful and majestic that we didn't want to leave, but we are sure we will return just as soon as we are able. Thank you Margot for your wonderful hospitality and we truly appreciated spending time in your beautiful home!

Margot, our stay in your lovely home was one of the highlights of our Montana vacation! It was great that you were in the area and available to give us a personal showing of your home. It was a pleasure to meet you! We're so thankful that your home was available to fit our schedule. You may recall that our initial arrangements to stay elsewhere in the area had been quite a disappointment - to say the least! So it was such a relief to find your home on the internet. Thank goodness for good internet service in that area! It all worked out so perfectly for us - my husband and me, and my sister and her husband - as this was our first visit to Anaconda, our late mother's hometown. We couldn't be more pleased to have found you and your home! It was a wonderfully pleasant and refreshing experience for all four of us. Once we settled into your cozy home, we felt as if it were "our home"! It was a peaceful, quiet retreat for each of us. The location was great, and we enjoyed going for walks and drives in the beautiful mountain setting. We enjoyed the seclusion and privacy - yet it was not that far to drive into Anaconda each day. Your home is so comfortable and so nicely furnished. We loved the beds! Each of us got a good night's sleep every night, thanks to the comfy mattresses and luxurious bedding!!! It was such fun preparing our meals together in the roomy kitchen, and we enjoyed sharing those meals both inside and out, as the weather was pleasant and the deck was so inviting! But all too soon our 3-day stay in your home came to an end... we all hated to leave! We would highly recommend this home and your services to others... and if we're ever in the Anaconda area again, we will definitely check the availability of this home, as we'd love to spend time there again. Thanks for all that you did for us to make our stay such a pleasant experience, Margot!

Margot, WOW! when we entered the house we were nicly surprised by what we saw! The pictures just do not do justice to the actual home. We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed being pampered by the surroundings in the home and the area. It is evident that you spare no expense to make your guest feel at home. Thank You! We look forward to possibly making this a return visit.

My family had a wonderful experience staying at this cabin. We stayed the last few days of December and first few of January. We were very impressed. The cabin had everything we needed and was all top notch. We got lots of snowboarding and ice fishing in...all just minutes away. One day we were hammered with nearly a foot of snow. I called Margot and within an hour she had someone up there to plow the road out for us. Absolutely no complaints. We will definitely be back!

We spent Dec.23-27th . What a great place to spend Christmas. I was very impressed with everything. The kitchen is fully stocked. The cabin is more like a home. We had a great time skiing and sledding with the kids. The loft is beautifull. We would like to return again. Thanks for all your hospitality.. Barb McLeod

Thank you Margot for providing such a lovely home for a vacation rental. I was truly, pleasantly, surprised by the quality of the beds, linens, and towels. Also, the furnishings were something you might choose for your home rather than a weekend cabin. No skimping here! We found a number of fun things to do in the nearby area and had a great trip. Thank you also for kindly mailing back to us the items that were accidentally left behind. Sincerely, Courtney Savin
