Our house, located in one of the most popular Steamboat neighborhoods, sits out on the Point in Tree Haus. With a full, wrap-around deck, it has the only view of the entire Yampa Valley, including the Ski Area and the Yampa River, in all of Steamboat. The views from the Hot tub deck are spectacular! Our house truly overlooks the river and you can see it stretch the entire length of the valley. There is simply no better view anywhere in Steamboat.
Newly remodeled and completely isolated from our neighbors, the house is incredibly cozy, but spacious. Along with electric and gas heaters, two moss-rock wood-burning inserts keep the house toasty during the winter. The location on the point keeps the house cool in the summer.
After your outdoor activities,relax and enjoy the mountain views from the secluded hot tub just off the master suite; barbeque on the deck; or savor a glass of wine while watching the river.
A short 4 minute drive gets you to free parking and shuttles that take you to the gondola base within minutes. Downtown, which boasts great shopping and fabulous dining, is also only minutes away.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Tree Haus
We fell in love with the town of Steamboat when we were searching for a second home in a ski town. Mt. Werner is a family friendly mountain where skiers of all skill levels can enjoy their days on the same mountain. Kids ski free, and the childrens ski school and daycare program is second to none. The downtown area has wonderful boutiques and excellent restaurants. There are amazing fishing, hiking, and biking opportunities when you are not skiing! One of our favorite daily activities is jogging from our house down the river pedestrian path, past the botanic gardens, and finishing up with a cappucino at the Bamboo Market!
The Unique Benefits at this House
If you choose to stay at our home, you will feel all the conveniences of staying at the base mountain, but without all the crowds. You will be able to get anywhere in five minutes yet have a true sense you are at a secluded getaway. Our home feels like a cozy ski cottage! You will have an amazing view of the Alpenglow at dusk and enjoy the twinkle lights of base mountain against the dark night sky each evening. Unobstructed views of the entire Yampa valley and river will greet you each morning with the occasional hot air balloon. Our home is very comfortable for groups and family gatherings. The pictures were all taken within the last 6 months and offer a realistic impression of our home. We hope you will love Steamboat and our home as much as we do!

We had such a good holiday here that we have already booked for another year. This house really had everything - large rooms for our big group to relax in, a hot tub to soothe our aching muscles after a full day's skiing, a big kitchen with all the amenities and very easy access to the slopes. The description does not exaggerate what the house provides and indeed the owners were really helpful and very keen to ensure we had an excellent holiday. We can't wait to come back. Thank you so much!
