After a family reunion in the Mountains of N.C. my husband and I decided to buy a little cabin in a good location that we could enjoy with our children, grandchildren and their families and also rent to share it with families like ours. We just love the mountains for its serenity and beauty and enjoy all that this wonderful area has to offer.

We love the cabin and the Perfect Location! This property offers privacy, but is surrounded by many fun vacation activities for all the different ages in our family.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
Being able to walk with our grand kids to the slopes and the ski village is a wonderful option especially in the winter for skiing, tubing, snowboarding and ice skating. From our location the rest of the year we enjoy hiking, as the property has access to many levels of walking trails . The more adventurous members of our family love the new ziplining , while others enjoy fishing, whitewater rafting, shopping, golfing, biking and always good eating at all the local restaurants. There are many things to do in our area, all year round!

Thank you so much, everything was just how you described it and more. Nice and cozy and convenient to Beech Mountain resort for skiing (right across the street). The cabin was clean and what a view. I'll definitely be looking up Chris and Jim for our next ski outing. Thanks for everything!

We just returned from a great weekend! The cabin was very clean & cozy - fireplace w/ firewood in the den & heaters in every room. The kitchen has just about everything you can imagine to help prepare meals on your stay. The pictures on the site are pretty much exact, the furniture & beds were very comfortable. The owner is very helpful & easy to work with both by phone & email. The water heater had gone out the day of our arrival & the plumbers were finishing up when we got there. The cabin is directly across from the entrance to the slopes, so it was just a quick drive up to the parking lot to go skiing with our two 10 year olds. The 3 TVs also came in handy after a long day on the slopes with the kids! Our only problem is that we did not find enough time to enjoy the hot tub :( I would highly recommend this property!

My family and I have vacationed in the Beech Mountain area for years however the week of Thanksgiving 2010 was our first staying in this cabin but it will certainly not be our last. The cabin was welcoming from the moment we entered we felt right at home. We were able to watch movies, play games, and cook anything imaginable with a full kitchen that literally had everything at our disposal. There is no detail overlooked in this home away from home. During our stay the mountain suffered a power outage one evening for several hours yet we were perfectly cozy in the cabin with the many candles provided by the homeowner and the warmth of the fire. The owner is more than accommodating and such a pleasure to work with that we are already planning for our fall vacation of 2011 to be spent in our new favorite spot among the clouds of Beech Mountain. Even my 10 year old granddaughter is begging for us to return to the same cabin for all future trips to Beech Mountain. Next year we are hoping to make it for ski season and take advantage of the supreme location across from the slopes entrance.
