Come and see the gorgeous views from your cozy vacation getaway! You'll find plenty of room in this separate and secluded guest house. It is nestled back in the park like setting with views to live for, visit your hosts just up the driveway for a toast, with a complementary bottle of wine, champagne or apple cider enjoying the beauty and peaceful setting. Every effort has been made to provide you with a quiet and relaxful stay. You will enjoy amazing views of the mountains and the beginning of Lost Creek Lake below and Needle Rock Mountain above, you can enjoy these views while picnicking in the 2 acre park like setting. There is also a private walking road down to the lake and the Rogue River where you will find hiking trails, foot bridges and little waterfalls. Bring your fishing poles! German Brown trout and bass are waiting! You might even catch a glimpse of a bald eagle or osprey.There is also a convenience store, lounge and restaraunt within walking distance.
For you pet owners we offer accommodations: pets cannot stay in the house, but they will be near your side and sheltered. There is a kennel on site and they are welcome to stay in the enclosed heated parking facility.
This site is within easy driving distance of Crater Lake National Park which is Oregon’s only National Park. The drive from the guest house takes about 1 hour through a beautiful section of the Rogue River National Forest and into Crater Lake National Park. The Wild and Scenic Rogue River is just a short drive away from the guest cottage. There are many hiking and viewing opportunities on this majestic river. Rafting is also available for everyone from novice to experienced rafters. Raft and boat rentals are available within a ten minute drive. Want to shop? Shady Cove has some quaint little shops and Ashland home of the remowned Shakespearian Festival is only 50 miles away, also is the historic town of Jacksonville which has been used in many major movie sets and the famous Britt Festival.Take a jet boat trip to Hell's Gate Canyon out of Grants Pass, also about an hour away. So many things to do and enjoy, you won't be disappointed! Or just relax and read a book and take in the beautiful surroundings! It's your vacation! We look forward to your visit!
