  "The second I came I knew I was going to have a good time. When we came in, we were greeted by our friendly host, Stephan. There was a pool table, a pinball machine (which was a lot of fun) and some disco instruments. Overall, it was very fun and nice."--Jack I asked my ten year old son to review the place, above. I would agree--Stephan is great; the place is clean and fun, especially with kids/teenagers, and it is convenient for sightseeing and exploring Montreal.

  Came to Montreal from Germany, and the stay couldn't have better. The location is optimal for quick access to downtown and the awesome Jean Talon market. Stephane, the owner, is always helpful and flexible, and working out the finer details were uncomplicated and easy. As a McGill student who lived in the city for 4 years, I highly recommend booking this stellar apartment.

  My family and I stayed in the loft in June, 2012. (The Grand Prix week-end, but we were there for the graduation of my son from Ecole National de Cirque) We loved the loft. Stephan was a great host. He is available to answer any questions about the loft or the city. I nicknamed it the "Man-Cave" because of all the great man toys it has. We loved the pinball, pool table & other toys. I recommend that you bring slippers, the floor is painted concrete, but Stephan supplies a couple pair of crocs. Guests who slept on the futon/couches said they were comfortable. I highly recommend this condo for a Montreal vacation. It is clean and well maintained. Having the kitchen was a plus. We had a car, so having the private parking was good. It is close to the metro for those without a car. Just watch posted parking on the street. Thanks again, Stephan!

  We just stayed at this rental March 23-25 2012. It was a great place! There were 10 girls in total and there was more then enough room. It was perfect for our trip and we would definetly go back again. Stef was amazing he showed us around and let us know the best food and activities around the area. We had so much fun! Thanks again to Stef

  Stayed there with 10 of my friends it was awesome. Theres more than enough room. Stef was great gave us maps and where to go for everything we need. Downtown is not to far. Thanks for the awesome loft.

  A couple of buddies and I drove up to Montreal from NY in mid-February to enjoy the town for the weekend. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint, with shops and restaurants within short walking or driving distance, and downtown Montreal a mere 10-15 minute drive. We didnt' get to do much walking because of the bitter cold, so we plan on coming back here during the summer. But all of that takes a back seat to this loft. Located in the basement, all the fellas were super impressed with complete kitchen, ample space and most especially the amenities that it provided for us guys - pool table, ping pong table, dart board, pinball machine and foozball. Our host Stephan greeted us and was accessible at all times, since he lives relatively close by. He took the time to sit down with me to get the lay of the land, including nearby stores to get groceries, restaurants, night life and things that a group of guys could do in montreal. He was super nice and friendly and even when we had the smallest of issues, he addressed it immediately. I can't stress enough how great of a help Stephan was for our trip there. We would've been roaming around aimlessly if it wasn't for him. I highly recommend this place for families, as there is ample space for kids, a full kitchen to cook full meals, a nice dining area, music, tv, comfy couches and of course, the games. And for the price, it's quite the bargain given the amenities. I can't speak for what montreal is like in summer time, but i can only imagine how much more we could've done if it wasn't so cold out. Thanks again to Stephan for the condo and for the hospitality. Looking forward to coming back to Montreal during warmer times.

  We visited from New York and Stef took very good care of us. The place is beautiful! Better than any hotel, I highly recommend to anyone staying in Montreal.

  I stayed here with my 3 children simply as the "loft" had so many things to do; pinball, 8 ball, table tennis, table football, darts, TV, DVD etc. The "loft" is actually a basement in a small residential 'condo'. It is not the most beautiful part of Montreal but it is across the road from a park ideal for little children. A real plus is that its only one block from the metro/subway and a short drive to the happening streets of St Laurent and St Denis. The large outdoor produce market at Jean-Talon is also about a 5 minute drive. The kitchen equipment and bedding etc is all to an excellent standard and comfortable. "The Loft" was a great find for my teenage kids and I. We had a great time.
