JanDora Cottage was built in 1940 as a winter getaway. The cottage is located directly on Lake Dora and just one mile from historical downtown Mount Dora. Enjoy fabulous views of Mount Dora and the lake from your porch, deck, or boat dock. Watch herons, bald eagles, and otter's play in the waters. Those with boats will enjoy having your boat in your own back yard.

Mound Dora is situated in the hills and lakes of beautiful Central Florida. This unique community is a place to relax and get away from the city life and is well known for its quaint shops, antique markets, and charming restaurants.

Cruising the Dora Canal will bring you back in time. A one-mile stretch of water remains the same as it was more than 100 years ago. This is definitely an "ooh and aah" experience for those wildlife aficionados. Mount Dora is host to numerous festivals throughout the year.

This newly-remodeled cottage can accommodate one to four. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed; the upstairs second bedroom has a full-size bed. Both bedrooms have full bathrooms with showers. The fully-equipped kitchen, with microwave, has everything for making a gourmet dinner to just a snack. The charming lakefront porch is perfect for reading the morning paper or watching beautiful sunsets. No smoking is permitted.
