Dear Lotus (Dudleys), Your home is just wonderful. Just the peace and quiet we needed to have "us" time. Thank you for having a place a person can bring their dogs. We are responsible dog owners and like to travel with them and be able to stay in nice clean places. Without people like you we would not travel as much due to the low quality hotels offered that take pets. We enjoyed visiting the local state parks and then coming "home" to a beautiful and quiet place and rock on the porch. Swimming in your lake was so refreshing and we met your brother Chris and his wife Gina, wonderful couple. We look forward to coming again and having our famliy rent your other two places for a great family getaway. Brian & Pam & Crew

Dear Lotus Point: What an awesome place to spend the weekend. The quietness, and only the noise of nature is so worthy to come up here. We enjoyed the lake so much. The kids were so amazed with the lizards and crickets. There is so much that one can say about a place like this... some times we feel speechless. What a wonderful, relaxing and surprising gift to spend Mother's Day weekend at Lotus. My children and husband loaded the car with food & a record player - bound for EASY LIVING! Here it was in beautiful Floral City. We enjoyed the lake, went fishing, caught crickets - well, the kids did that - ha! We also explored Peace Cave and all the surrouding caves. My family enjoyed it all. My mother-in-law joined us Saturday to make the weekend extra special. This weekend was PERFECT! Your home is beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us. ruly peaceful! What a beautiful, quiet place to relax for spring break. We are a travelling hockey family from Michigan so the slow down and peace from our normal every day rush is appreciated. Daer Lotus, Thank you for helping us to celebrate a wonderful anniverary! We arrived prior to a once a year storm according to the locals and for two days the thunder rumbled and the rains fell. Such a great house for even rainy weather. We played games and read and immensely enjoyed the quiet. Got to use the Kayaks the last morning. Your home is very comfortable, well appreciated and enjoyable. So very peaceful... Thank you. We'd love to return. Gary & Susan

Dear Lotus, Another beautiful day. Sandhills up by the house this am. Look at video of them, just beautiful. Also whooping cranes were spotted, saw approx 200 Sandhills in the field across from Comet. Took home a Cuban sandwich and pizza from Flroal City Pizza & Subs, wonderful. Went to Shamrock Sunday evening - horrible. Storms expected this day and evening, hope not too bad. Becky Dear Lotus - 1.29.11 Last morning here. Such enjoyment. Hello Lotus Point, after a busy April, three birthdays, two college graduations and a 25 year wedding anniversary, we needed to recharge. No better place than returning here for Mother's Day. This weekend was as peaceful and relaxing as last year. Thanks again.

We had such a wonderful time down here that I am ready t move to Florida. All I have to do when I get back to Indiana is start looking for my husband a job down here. This may be one of the last vacations I will get to spend with my grandparents, but it was wonderful here. I think we all enjoyed it very much. I know those toll roads enjoyed us. We made several trips to Daytona, so our daughter could play on the beach. Thank you so much for letting us use your house. Child's entry: We had lots of fun going fishing, going to see the caves, going swimming in the lake, going on the pier, swinging on the tire and going to the park. The kitchen, living rooms, the bathrooms and the rooms look beautiful. Thank you so much. We had lots of fun.

This is our second stay at Lotus Point and we were just as thrilled this time as the first time with your wonderful home. It is so relaxing, with a beautiful view of the lake. Windy days had the Spanish Moss swaying and the birds were wonderful to watch as they flew across the lake and took a swim right outside the awesome screened porch. Friends and family loved to gather here in your spacious home and remarked how well you have updated, decorated and maintain your home. We will enjoy returning again and again and again!

The house was great. We had a good time. We think next time we will come back without the kids (ha, ha, ha!) It was a very relaxing vacation. Thank you. Childrens' entries: *We had a lot of fun here. We caught two bass out there in the lake. That was pretty cool. The house is very nice. At night we played manhunt. *This is a great house. My favorite part is the game "Apple to Apples." *We had a great time here. all the board games were a blast. We loved playing "Apples to Apples." Canoeing was a great experience. We had fun fishing. We had fun on the bikes and swimming in the lake. We had a mud fight. The caves were amazing. We also had fun taning on the dock. We had a pretty good time, but I wish there was more people.

Wow, what a wonderful place here, tranquility nestled amoung the bearded Oaks and birds a plenty. The walk around the lake and through the woods with Olivia & Cindy was an adventure. The canoe ride had several graceful birds greeting us from above and the wonderful dinner served by candle light will long be remembered as a Cove special (dinner at Cove). We all laughed so hard and had so much fun. Love Lotus Point!

Getting back to nature by day and cozying up in a lakeside cottage by night is the perfect balance for a vacation. It's a nature lover's paradise with owls, osprey, eagles, egrets and herons in abundance. Amazing fishing, including 8 and 13 lb trophy bass recently caught on the Lake Consuela.
