Lucerne Drive is the most exclusive ocean-front street this side of the 17 mile drive in Carmel. 613 Lucerne is an address of distinction. You will delight in the incredible views of the rocky shoreline, the Cayucos Pier, and the beach as it stretches all the way to Morro Rock from this outstanding home.
This is one unit in a three unit building. The building is perched on a rocky shoreline cliff that offers an array of sea life and birds that will give you tremendous viewing enjoyment. 613 Lucerne is secluded, quiet, and has wall-to-wall glass to enhance the view. (Children under 11 are not recommended due to danger of the high rocky cliff at the beach end of the property)
There is never a shortage of things to do here on the Central Coast. 613 Lucerne is in walking distance of Cayucos Pier, restaurants & shops. A short drive south to Morro Bay where you may want to walk, drive, or ride along the Embarcadero with its wonderful views of the Bay where you can watch seals and otters at play, or eat at some of the best seafood restaurants you will ever come across, and explore the many unique shops. Maybe tomorrow you will be up for a round of golf at Morro Bay's bayside premiere golf course or one of many other spectacular courses in the county. Discover the entire coastline by driving up world famous Highway 1 right along the cliffs and shores of the Pacific Ocean. Cambria is known for its many unique restaurants & wonderful works by local artists. North of San Simeon you will find elephant seals lying side by side covering the beaches. On up a bit further, Ragged Point is a great place to stop and grab a bite or take breathtaking photographs of the rocky shoreline there. Don't miss Hearst Castle on your way through San Simeon. The castle was the dream of newspaper/magazine magnate William Randolph Hearst, who began the castles construction in 1919 after falling in love with the area from camping there as a child. Take a leisurely stroll out onto the Cayucos Pier where you may see dolphins playing alongside surfers in the waves. Back in Morro Bay you won't want to miss taking a bird watching kayak trip all through the bay, or sail the wild Pacific just beyond the breakwater, where you can get a completely different look at 576 foot Morro Rock and the coastline. Hopefully you have arrived during whale watching season. Montaña de Oro (Mountain of Gold) State Park is just Southwest of Morro Bay and has awesome panoramic vistas. While in Los Osos and Baywood Park you may enjoy hiking through the Elfin Forest or Sweet Springs Preserve, each along the shores of the bay. To the east, you will find our exceptional local wineries offering tastings of famous Central Coast varietals. You may want to learn about our history by taking a tour of a local museum or one many California Missions in our area. Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa was built in 1772. If you have a wild streak, drive on down through Pismo right onto the beach at Oceano Dunes where you can drive along the ocean or rent an ATV to ride the dunes.
Whichever direction you decide to wander, you are sure to have the time of your life!

My friends and I had a reunion at this property. The owner filled us in on the basics and then let us know she was available if we needed her. Even though she lived next door, we didn't see her unless we had a question. The property is clean and well equipped. The view is gorgeous and has an access to the beach/tidal pools. It is just a short walk to the town of Cayucos, where we found plenty to do. I would recommend this property to anyone without small children (the steps are too steep).Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

My husband and baby son just stayed here for a long weekend. It is RIGHT on the water - on a cliff, in fact. My son cannot walk yet and stayed inside so it was perfect. (I would not bring small children here). It had ample space and its own patio out to a little garden cliff above the water. It was very nice and comfortable with 2 levels (two queens on the ocean-level floor, and two twins in the upstairs bedroom). The owners are very nice and left us flowers and wine and cheese (because it was our anniversary). Even though there are two other units we had a very private stay. I highly recommend this place!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
