  This home is tucked into a nice, quiet neighborhood but some freeway noise in the backyard, the courtyard is the place to be. Close to shops, restaurants, beaches. Lovely furnishings & quality built home. You'd be proud to invite your friends to stay. Ideal for a family. Landlord is pleasant to work with.

  We recently stayed in this beautiful home in Del Mar and were very impressed with the size, layout of floorplan and amenities. All the beds were very comfortable with lots of extra linens. Plenty of room for 9 adults and 3 children. Conveniently located near a grocery store and coffee shops, plus easy access to the freeway. This was a last minute reservation and the owner, Rob, accommodated our party and was very friendly and easy to work with. Only negatives we experienced were the upstairs guest suite got very warm, we had a number of groceries go bad because we weren't told which side of the Subzero refrigerator was the freezer, the bbq grill wouldn't work properly and the freeway noise was completely unexpected. The courtyard was very peaceful and we found our group gathering their in the evenings and early mornings.

  We go to San Diego every year for Spring Break and this is by far the best place we have ever stayed at, The house is perfect for groups because it is spaced out so well that you never feel crowded. The back yard and porch are huge and great places to hang out. All the amenities you could ever need and Rob is always at your disposal if you need him (gives great restaurant recommendations). There is a grocery store less than a minute away along with a whole shopping plaza of restaurants and eateries. The location is perfect, beach is less than a 3 minute drive and Downtown San Diego is just a short drive down the freeway. We had an amazing time, Thanks again Rob, Alex

  Our family, from across America, came together to this beautiful house. There was so much room we kept losing each other. The owner was very accomodating. Going back home made me miss the huge house. I definitely recommend it, a word to the wise, claim the downstairs master bedroom (you'll love it).

  Owner response: The Master bedroom was designed as a sanctuary...once you pass thru the foyer, you'll enjoy the "Rain shower" and separate jetted tub with "light therapy" (different color lights colors the water and supposedly affects your mood!), Enjoy the reading area with 100 Greatest Books available or your favorite games and shows on the wall mounted HDTV and BluRay player It is wonderful to hear that our previous guest enjoyed it so much! Isn't that the whole idea of a "Vacation"?? :-)

  Had a large group of family (4 generations), stay in this luxurious home with great accommodations. The descriptions and the photos were accurate, the property clean and well maintained and the owner very accessible. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to make very fond family memories.

  Stayed in this home, beginning Dec. 26, 2010. Excellent home to share with two or more families. Open kitchen perfect for cooking, sharing, and camaraderie. All accommodations were terrific and the owners were very helpful. We would surely recommend the house.
