Whisk a loved one away on a romantic break or weekend and forget about the world you are leaving behind, enjoying instead the relaxation and romance with someone special in one of our apartments in Rome Italy ...
This romantic apartment (perfect for an unforgettable honeymoon) is located near the Roman Forum and the Colosseum in the area called "Monti" (where the Italian president has his residence), ancient neighborhood of the "Suburra " (the name means "area under the city"), mentioned in historical sources, that still today maintains a popular and characteristic flavor.
This location is perfect for those who want to walk in the centre (easily you can reach by foot the main sites like the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Santa Maria Maggiore Church, Piazza Venezia, Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon) or reach any other destination by public transportation. There is a bus stop (bus 117) close to the apartment that will take you a few minutes in Spanish Steps or Piazza del Popolo (the trendy and famous fashion district). Underground stop "Cavour Line B" just at few steps from the apartment: in only one stop you will be able to reach the Central Station Termini and from there you can also easily reach the seaside/beach front of Ostia Lido, where you can spend part of your day in summer season)
The apartment is on the second floor of a building of the 19th Century (with elevator and air conditioning) and it is composed of: bedroom (queen/king size bed) with a small balcony that looks out on a good sized garden. With the greenery and freshness of the garden, you would never guess that you are in the historic center of Rome. The bedroom is separated from the living room by means of a sliding door. The door has been painted with tromp l'oeil effect by the owner of the apartment and when opened forms, together with the decoration on the walls of the living room, a unique illusion.
Going down three steps you enter the dining area and corner kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, electric stove and everything needed for preparing your meals). The tiles in the kitchen as well as the dining tabletop have all been painted by hand by the owner, another example of the care that has gone into decorating this apartment. The dining area looks out on a typical Roman piazza, complete with a characteristic pizzeria with tables and umbrellas. The original wooden ceiling tiles has been restored, giving the warmth of wood to the entire environment. The bathroom is decorated with travertine tiles, and, though not very big, it is comfortable and includes: w.c., bidet, sink and shower. |
