My husband and I were warmly welcomed by Gabriela, a friend of Walter and Natalia. The apartment exceeded all our expectations and we spent a most enjoyable week there. It was so quiet, comfortable and safe -- a joy to return to after hours of sightseeing and walking. We would love to return some day, perhaps for a little longer. Carol Anne and John

Walter and Natalia’s conscientiousness enthusiasm makes the Roman Forum an ideal apartment. My wife and I spent seven nights in Rome and highly recommend the apartment. It is small, but well laid out and functional. If you are a big person, you may want to reconsider. The kitchen is small but also functional. The location is ideal. The apartment is within walking distance to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine, and just about every other major site. We only took the metro one time to the Vatican—every place else we walked. A metro stop (Cavour) and several bus stops are very close, within walking distance. Walter handles most of the booking arrangements and is very prompt in returning e-mails. During our stay he even told us about an impending strike during which public transportation would be shut down. Natalia seems to manage the guest relations, and she is very good at it. Upon arrival she sits down with you spends the time necessary to familiarize you with the area. She reviews locations on a map, and suggests places to visit. She recommends her favorite (non-tourist restaurants) and points out markets, grocery stores, etc. I highly recommend Roman Forum.

We stayed here for two weeks in January and it is the perfect time to visit Rome. The apartment location is perfect for exploring on foot. We never had to use public transportation though it is easily available. The area is a safe neighborhood without many tourists. Lots of shops, restaurants and a grocery store nearby, even one of the small piazzas complete with its own fountain where there is after school and work gatherings. The apartment was pristine and Natalia and Walter were available for any questions you might have. We have been to Rome many times but this was a first for renting an apartment. We would do this again without a second thought. Thanks Natalia and Walter .

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with this apartment, and Walter and Natalia. They were very responsive throughout the process, and were always prompt to answer questions we had before and during our stay. Walter and Natalia were very accommodating. Our plane arrived from the US very early in the morning, and they were there to greet us upon arrival. Both were very friendly with lots of suggestions to welcome us. Natalia personally looked at a map of the area with us, and pointed out areas she thought we should definitely check out. This was very helpful to us as we planned our stay. I fell and had a knee injury at the Pantheon on the second to last day of our stay, and Walter and Natalia offered any help they could and insisted on paying for a taxi to take us to the airport instead of us taking public transportation. This was incredibly generous of them to do, and much appreciated so I didn't have to hobble around any more than I had to! The apartment itself is just as you see in the photos. It is beautifully decorated, very clean, and very comfortable. It was the absolute perfect place to come home to each night after a long evening of sightseeing. We walked everywhere- even to the Vatican. Restaurants, cafes, shops, the metro- everything you need is right at the doorstep, but the outside noise is minimal. Contrary to another reviewer's opinion, we thought the size of the apartment was cozy and perfect for a couple. We also enjoyed the garden view from the bedroom balcony. We absolutely loved our stay here, and hope to do it again some day. It was the perfect honeymoon. The price was better than a hotel, and it had all the amenities of being at home. We cannot recommend this, or any property that Walter and Natalia offer, enough!

We booked this apt in Feb for Nov. In August, our son died in an accident. We were going to cancel, but decided to go as we visited Rome with our son 5 years ago and thought it would bring us comfort. 6 days after our arrival, our Dad died suddenly. We booked this apt on the strength of good reviews and emails from the owners ensuring us the apt was clean, quiet. Since our stay would be for 1 month, comfort was important. Nov 1st, our flight from the UK was delayed 9 hours due to mechanical trouble. We called to explain we would be arriving late. Walter was there to greet us and seemed to think we missed the flight, despite explaining to Natalia. After all this, the apt was very dirty. We spent 2 hours cleaning late at night. The apt is a small studio with a sliding door. Small fridge is old and not frost free. Stove/ work top were dirty and the sink was grimy. The soft furnishings were stained and worn throughout. The floor space is limited and on 3 levels. Dirty bathroom was cluttered with half empty toiletry bottles. All floors, surfaces were dirty. Garden is neglected. Front door had 7 rules taped up, crooked. The tape was old. We removed them and put them in order so it would look nicer. The area is commercial, but the noise can’t be heard when the windows are closed, but, the people who live upstairs are up all night slamming, stomping. No insulation. We met the owners and told them about the condition of the apt. They were apologetic but blamed it on the fill-in housekeeper. We explained we cleaned the apt. They were there 15 min. We felt as if we were a bother to them. They spoke to one another in Italian. We mentioned our son, and Natalia rolled her eyes. Why? When we received the news of our Dad’s death, we called and asked them to arrange a taxi to the airport the next morning. They seemed aloof. We never mentioned money. Our concern was to return to the UK ASAP. The apt was clean when we left. We later emailed the owners. They didn’t email back, but sent a refund of 1 wk. We emailed and 1 wk later they sent us a rude email. We felt as though we were being bullied, saying they were not obligated to return any money. Fair enough, but it was their attitude. We’ll never forget the way they made us feel. We rely on reviews and contact with owners. We were misled about this property and cannot recommend it. We feel a complaint is a gift for it gives the owner a chance to improve their business and gives people an honest choice.

Owner response: We have been always ready to take advice and suggestion of our customers but this review sounds more like a revenge with the will to destroy our reputation and our business. I invite all travellers to read the 34 reviews regarding this apt and the other 91 regarding my other apt listed vrbo 394881, 140826,194822,250871.Of course we understand the state of mind of a couple hit by such a tragedy. In August, when we received the terrible news, we gave all the time to decide, held the apartment until a last decision, offering to give back the total deposit. On 1st Nov day of arrival, the center of Rome was blocked for the entire day due to a violent demonstration, our normal housekeeper was unable to reach the area so we were obligated to arrange a backup. We changed the airport transfer after receiving your call, Walter was at midnight in the apt for a quick check in, promising to meet you when you were rested. When we met you, you immediately inform that the apt. was dirty to which we apologized and offered to send immediately my top housekeeper. You refused it. I highly doubted that the apt could be so dirty, the person I sent, even if in emergency, still is a person that I know and I use. Instead of cleaning in the middle of the night why not call immediately the morning after, ask for an explanation and effectively showing the dirt and not just saying after two days you had to clean. Small fridge, small studio with sliding door: all that is clearly stated on the site. Furniture: our apt are decorated with a mix of modern and antique furniture, not worn throughout. Half-bottles of soap: they are container. Garden: it belongs to another property. People upstairs: never had a complain about it, there is a double ceiling 15 minutes: not true!!We spent a pleasant hour, this was my feeling, giving ideas of places to visit and I even offer to take you for a day excursion in countryside. About rolling my eyes: highly impossible because I almost lost my son so I could somehow relate to your pain. Being aloof: I was in total shock to hear about another tragedy in your family. We organized transport on departure, paid by us, and when they informed the intention of not returning we send a partial refund even if we do not have to. Immediately after we have received an email complaining about the amount of our refund, we emailed back explaining that we couldn’t do better and immediately after this review.

We stayed at the Roman Forum apartment in September of 2012. Walter and Natalia were quick to respond to any of our questions prior to booking and provided us with all the information we needed to feel comfortable about booking the apartment. Natalia helped arrange our transportation from the airport to the apartment on our arrival day which was a huge help. The apartment is cozy, clean and very well maintained. It was even stocked with some essentials (coffee, tea, biscuits, jams etc.) that we really appreciated. Natalia met us at the apartment upon our arrival and spent an hour with us providing all kinds of useful information and advice on the neighbourhood and surroundings. We were given a detailed orientation on the apartment itself and were left with all kinds of maps and restaurant information. What a great way to start our vacation! Natalia also provided with a cell phone that had local prepaid minutes included. The apartment is a short walk to the Colosseum and just steps from the Cavour subway station. Our neighbourhood, known as “Monti” is lovely, clean and you get a real sense of what it’s like to live in Rome. Shops and restaurants are plentiful in this casual, hip area and we always felt safe. You can walk anywhere in Rome from this neighbourhood and if walking is not your thing, cabs are plentiful and the subway system is easy to use. The evening before our departure Walter went out of his way to contact us and warn us of a pending transportation strike that was to take place the next day. Walter’s timely call allowed us to plan accordingly which saved us from a huge inconvenience. Thanks Walter! We would not hesitate to rent from Walter and Natalia again. They are a lovely couple and would do anything to help make your vacation in Rome a success. Thanks Walter and Natalia for making our stay so special!

Bob and I were thrilled with our accommodation at Roman Forum apartment. The area is close to great transportation, walking in the neighbourhood is a wonderful experience day and evening as it is the trendy Monti district home to bars, restaurants and many interesting and varied boutiques. It was convenient that we returned each lunchtime from sightseeing and had lunch and a siesta. The local food shopping was first class and we stocked up on arrival thanks to Natalie's recommendations. The apartment itself was a delight - compact and comfortable - everything you would need including maps, tour books, cell phone and shoe-polish kit. We couldnt have been more pleased with the welcome and the great resources Natalie and Walter provided and will visit again as soon as we are able.

During the last 8 years+ we have been regular guests at Natalia and Walter's apartments. The ones in Via San Giovanni were excellent, and we were certainly not disappointed at our first stay in this apartment. A quiet street, very close to ancient Rome, a lot of small nice restaurants with well cooked food to reasonable prices, and a cosy apartment with a view to a small garden in the backyard. A few meters to the Metro station, and only a little longer to a medium size supermarket. What more can you ask for in the middle of a big city with millions of tourists. Of course we know our way around, and we already had our favourite places to go and to eat, but again, as usual, we were well guided at our arrival, ( this time by Walter ), were to eat, and what to see. Walter knows, that we have seen all the main tourist attractions, so he always have some suggestions to visits, that we haven’t thought of. Maps, business cards and other info is available, so it is just up to us what to do. This time was the first for us in Rome without any visitors, ( that is why we have rented the other apartments ), and this apartment was certainly big enough for two people, and considering were it is situated, we think the price is very fair. There is a small “kitchen”, BUT – who wants to cook themselves when they are in Italy ? Bathroom, living room / bedroom is perfect, and if you really have to stay at home, there are plenty of TV-channels. Next time we are having a two-some holiday in Rome, this will be the place to go. Many thanks to Natalia and Walter. Ellen & Henrik, Denmark

My husband and I stayed at this Roma appartment last August from friends' recommendation. We loved the cute appartment and it's location. The Monty neighbourhood is very artsy and happening and the appartment is close to everything; the sites, restaurant, shopping. We were greeted by a friend of the owner who was extremely friendly and helpful. She even made our dinner reservations and called cabs for us. The apartment itself is small but cosy, comfortable, very clean and very nicely decorated. We will go back to this appartment someday. Our experience was perfect is every way.

Our stay with Walter and Natalia was truly fantastic! A car greeted us at the airport and drove us to the apartment where Walter was waiting to greet us. He spent about an hour giving us tips for our stay in Rome and was so gracious! He helped to make our stay of one week focused, interesting and special. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. It is so centrally located we had the entire city at our finger tips. Would we stay there again? Without hesitation. Simply put, it was the perfect place in a perfect city. We hope to return someday soon and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a romantic getaway. Magnificent!

I feel compelled to write this review after reading a recent post by a couple who had a negative experience at the Roman Forum apartment and with Natalia and Walter. Words cannot adequately express the sympathy that I feel for them for their truly tragic losses during the past year, and I hope that they are able to return to Rome and experience the wonderful city and friendly locals. My partner and I arrived in Rome in mid-June from Fairbanks, Alaska. It was my first trip to Europe, and we decided that intead of staying in a hotel we would rent a little apartment. I found the Roman Forum on this website, and it more than surpassed our expectations. Natalia and Walter were there to meet us after our umpteen-hour long flight, and quickly made us feel right at home within the apartment. They showed us how everything worked, and Natalia showed us both the neighborhood (places to eat, sites you can walk to), as well as the subway and bus sytem. She patiently answered our questions and stressed over and over again that if there was anything that she could help us with, that we should call her using the cell phone that they supplied. During the overview we expressed that we wanted to visit Pompeii but hadn't done much research into train schedules, etc. and before Natalia was finished describing how to get to the Vatican (our first destination), Walter had pulled up the local train schedule on his smartphone and was wiritng it down for us. They left and we explored what was to be our apartment for the next week. Everything was provided. Dish detergent to do the dishes, laundry detergent for the washer, there was ever a basket in the bathroom containing every toiletry you can impagine (full size, not little travel-bottles)--just in case something was forgotten. We used the insect repellent and the umbrella, and were very happy to have both! The apartment was very, very clean, and was comfortable, like visiting a friend. What made the place special for us was the fact that it wasn't sterile like a hotel. It felt like you were living in an apartment in Rome. The neighborhood was great, the Colosseum right around the corner, and the subway not a block away. I really don't think we could have found a better place. Natalia checked on us midway during our stay just to see how we were doing, and if we had any more questions. We felt like she and Walter went out of their way to welcome us, and we would definitely rent the Roman Forum again.

My husband and I spent a week at the Roman Forum Apt in June and were absolutely thrilled with our accommodations. We arrived after by train from Sorrento and when we arrived Walter was waiting at the apartment for us. He spent quite a bit of time going over the apartment and then used a map to give us advice on some of the best spots in Rome and how to get there. Throughout the booking process and stay Walter and Natalia were always very helpful. The how to get there part was easy. You can walk since the apartment is centrally located between Termini, the Colosseo and Forum. The apartment is also located a few minutes away from the Line B metro stop so if we couldn't walk to our destination, we only had to walk a short way to reach the metro which took us everywhere else we wanted to go. Our first night in the apartment we walked the short walk to the Colosseo and since it was so close, we made it a point to walk by there every day. Other major locations were also very convient including the Capitoline Museum, Arch of Constantine, Forum of Trajan and Trajan's Column, Baths of Diocletian, Santa Maria Maggiore, Plazzo Massimo (this is no light matter since my husband is a professor of history and myself of art history...truly a wonderful location). The apartment was plenty of space for my husband and I (it is not huge, but it is a studio, which at least in America makes it clear that it is one space). The apartment was clean when we arrived and we were able to bring in food and beverage from the local grocery which was about a block away (very convenient). The apartment is also painted in a trompe de l'oeil style that makes the room very pretty and comfortable. We hope to visit Rome again in 2014 and wouldn't think twice about staying in the Roman Forum Apartment.

This is the fourth time we've stayed at the Colosseum apartment, which in itself says something. Walter and Natalia remain the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The flat is so convenient (2 minutes from the metro, 5-10 minutes from the Colosseum and Forum) and the area full of bars and restaurants. We've stayed in numerous places in Rome but once we found this place we've never even bothered to look anywhere else - it's a delightful, confortable place to stay with welcoming hosts. You can be sure that next time we come to Rome we will be staying here again (and again, and again).

My husband I had a lovely 2 week stay in the Roman Forum apartment. The very close proximity to the Cavour Metro stop allowed us to visit areas outside Roam while the location of the apartment allowed us to walk most areas of the city (if you bring good shoes and a water bottle). The apartment is very clean and has pretty much anything you might need - internet access, the use of the cell phone and the washing machine came in especially handy. We liked that we could choose to listen to the activities that were happening on the street below the apartment or we could close the window and the apartment was quiet and peaceful. We appreciated Natalia checking in on us and offering suggestions on events that were occurring during our stay. Make sure you take advantage of the great shops around Monti as well as the great places to eat that can be just a block or two away. We loved Ciuri Ciuri – a Sicilian bakery with AMAZING Cannoli and Taverna de Fiori Imperiale never disappoints. Pizza is available just up the street at a great local bread bakery. All around terrific experience!

We were saddened to hear of Jimmy and Jennifer's distressing circumstances and unhappy visit to this apartment. We have stayed here twice and are hoping to visit again soon. Jimmy and Jennifer's experience is so far removed from ours that we felt it only fair to the owners to review our own two stays, firstly in April 2010 and most recently at Easter 2012. Both stays were for around one week. The apartment is wonderfully situated near the Colosseum, the Forum and has the Cavour metro station just a step away. The location is ideal both for visiting the attractions of central Rome on foot and for venturing further afield by train. Train travel is both comfortable and cheap compared with the UK. There are lots of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance with prices to suit all pockets. In addition there's a very good supermarket nearby on Cavour, a bakers, coffee bars and a host of other little shops to explore. Whilst the area is busy and vibrant during the day, it is remarkably peaceful at night for such a central location. We experienced no noise from any of the surrounding apartments. The flat, which has lift access, has no garden of its own, but french windows lead to a little balcony overlooking a greened courtyard. This can look unmanicured but anyone who has experienced the heat of an Italian summer will soon realise that it is designed for shade and coolness. At the time of our last visit there was no sign of wear in the furnishings and on both occasions we found the apartment very attractive, comfortable and clean. The kitchen and bathroom areas are compact and well equipped. On both our visits Walter and Natalia, the owners, have been extremely helpful, informative and friendly. They gave us a mobile phone with immediate access to them should we need help which was very reassuring. They also gave us lots of tips and suggestions to enhance our visits. If you want a comfortable and very well located base from which to explore Rome and its environs then we would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment. .

This apartment was home for three months as I studied Italian in Rome last winter, and what a fantastic home it was! Guests from Canada staying with me loved how comfortable, warm, clean, and well-decorated this apartment was - and how well everything worked! From the washing machine to the perfect wireless Internet, to the satellite TV (which I used to watch English-language news and movies when I should have been studying Italian!) everything worked well. Also plenty of clean towels, bed linens, dishes, hot water, and a tiny balcony that looks down on a shared garden that neighbours let run wild with big trees and flowering bushes. I could sleep at night with the window on the courtyard open to let in fresh air. I celebrated Christmas, New Years, and watched spring arrive in Rome living here. I knew the apartment would be perfect because I had rented twice before from Natalia and Walter. I had rented this same apartment before in June 2011 when Rome was roasting hot - thank goodness for their powerful air-conditioning unit and sound -proof double-glazed windows. At night, I didn't hear a sound during the summer or winter. I was also VERY glad of the double-glazed windows in Natalia and Walter's apartment near Campo dei Fiori, which I had rented in 2008 when I first met this couple, who are such thoughtful hosts. The bedroom windows in the Campo apartment looked onto a very old, cobblestone street so sounds echoed. But with the double-glazed windows, that apartment was also very quiet, day and night. On that visit, Natalia took me shopping at the outlet malls just outside of Rome. She and Walter really can't do enough for their guests! They even provide cell phones so you can call for help (last winter, I developed a very bad cold and Natalia booked me an appointment in an English-language clinic and brought in an extra heater, which I didn't need but the gesture was sweet.) The Monti apartment is very well situated, near grocery stores, restaurants, the Roman Forum and Colosseum and an interesting walk to Rome's major sites. When I first came, I didn't know the Monti neighbourhood, but quickly grew to love it. I highly recommend any of their apartments because Natalia and Walter are wonderful hosts who are fair to deal with and who pay attention to detail - everything always works in their apartments, which they keep spotlessly clean and well appointed. The photos of their apartments here are very accurate .

This apartment was everything I had hoped for when looking at photos and reading reviews. It is small, but the owners maximized the use of space and it was fine for my husband and I for 8 days. The listing and photos accurately revlected the apartment. There are two large windows and a balcony door, which made the apartment light and cheery. The walls are painted a soft yellow, the floors are a burnt-orange tile, and part of the ceiling is high with exposed beams--felt very Tuscany! The paintings that Natalia did added interest and elegance to the apartment. Kitchen is small, but we only used it for coffee and snacks. The shower is small but adequate. The apartment was clean and well-maintained. It had good windows, and we heard very little outside noise. The building was secure and the entrance was elegant marble. There was a small elevator, which we appreciated when carrying luggage. Occasionally the elevator didn't work, but we only had to walk 2 flights of stairs. The apartment is in a great location--right across from the metro station, and within walking distance of the Colosseum, Forum, and a number of other sites. St. Peter-in-Chains Church is around the corner. Actually, we walked all over Rome from that apartment! There are four restaurants within a block, which we ate at; the Elite grocery store is nearby and fun to go to. Natalia and Walter were wonderful and very responsive throughout the reservation-rental process. We accepted their offer to arrange transportation to/from the airport, and that was well worth it. Natalia and Walter met us at the apartment and acclimated us. They also gave us a local cell phone to use, and also to reach them if needed. We felt we had friends in Rome if we needed help in any way. Visiting Rome in November turned out to be perfect. There were no lines at the attractions, and we had good weather. We fell in love with Rome and would love to return and stay in this apartment again. I almost hate to write this review, as I'm afraid that this apartment won't be available when we go back!!

Thank you, Walter and Natalia, for opening up your wonderful apartment for us. The location to all the major sites and transportation hubs in Rome was just incredible with the Metro stop just a few steps away. The photos of the apartment are accurate and actually the apartment is far cuter and neater in reality. (We loved the washer, the air conditioner, comfortable bed, WIFI and the garden balcony most of all.) Walter answered all of our questions and helped us get orientated to the area and what was available. He is a remarkable host and we so enjoyed meeting him and staying in the apartment. Walter and Natalia have a guest book that visitors have added to each time that they have stayed in this apartment. (We highly recommend this for anyone having a VRBO). Reading this list of recommendations from the other guests who have stayed helped in planning our daily adventures or where to eat or buy necessary items. (Using Rick Steve’s tour book for Rome as an extra guide proved invaluable also.) We will definitely be back to this lovely apartment in a gorgeous city. We felt safe, had everything at our fingertips, and marveled at how close and within walking distance everything was. We had the time of our lives and it's all thanks to Walter and Natalia, their apartment, and the hospitality and graciousness of Rome.

this is a lovely apartment in the centre of Rome and close to everything. we definitely recommend it. we unfortunately did not meet the owners, Natalie and Walter, but their close friend Stephanie looked after us. lots of good restaurants in the neighbourhood, including "wanted" which was just great. only complaint was that the airconditioning either needs to be replaced or serviced. we were there when the temperature was continually in the low 30's, and to be able to just cool the apartment down would have been good. We loved this apartment, we stayed for seven days and quickly felt like this was our little refuge from the big city. Walter and Natalia were very helpful and gave us all the information and tips we needed to make our way around Rome like we were locals. The local area is just gorgeous, with everything within reach, lots of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, little boutique shops (and gelati!) and public transport just a few steps away. We walked to the to all the major archeological sites with ease, and this in the middle of summer. The restaurants in the area suit all types of travellers on all types of budgets. All easy walking distance. The apartment looks just as it did in the photo but what you cant see is the little extra's and special care Natalia and Walter have added to make your stay here just amazing. I am recommending this apartment to my travelling friends and relatives and will book an apartment through the owners on my next visit to Rome with my sisters. The apartment is truly special and it is really hard to leave so we threw coins into the Trevi fountain so we could return to this lovely place again.

We spent a week in the apartment and it was fantastic. It was quiet and relaxing but close to any amenity you could need, including some charming restaurants and lovely shops. Although the metro station is steps away we found it easier and more enjoyable to get around on foot. If we are ever in Rome again we would definately stay here again. Grazie tanto!

This is our second stay in the Roman Forum apartment. In 2008 we travelled from Australia and we stayed for one week and found it so fabulous and well equipped that we returned for a 3 month stay from November 2010 until January 2011.It has everything you need and all the extras. Firstly the apartment is very well equipped and nicely furnished which makes it very comfortable to live in.The apartment is centrally located but very quiet and we had no problems with noise. The listing description is definitely accurate. The location is the next best thing about the apartment. It is so central to the majority of the tourist sights and easy access to both metro and buses. The nearest Metro , Cavour,is only one minute's walk away.If you only have a few days in Rome this can save you valuable travelling time and you can make the most of your sight seeing. The area of Monti is great, lots of interesting shops , a real mix of bohemian, artisan charm and lively local colour and good restaurants in the neighbourhood. You get a chance to glimpse the real Roma. After exploring Rome for 3 months my husband and I both agreed that Monti is one of the absolute best areas to stay in.The other big plus about this apartment are the owners; Natalia and Walter are a pleasure to deal with and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. They operate a very professional and well organised business and offer a warm welcome and an invaluable initial orientation to Rome drawing on their extensive local knowledge and allowing the traveller to experience "hidden gems" of Rome. We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and hope you are fortunate enough to also enjoy it as we did.

Thank you Natalia and Walter for a memorable week in Rome! By arranging a taxi to and from the airport, meeting us at the apartment upon our arrival, providing advice and guidance on the many things to see and do in Rome, and providing a cell phone to use in case we ran into any problems, you made us feel welcome, comfortable, and ready to explore your wonderful city. The apartment was everything that was advertised and we enjoyed coming back to it every evening after a long day sightseeing. Your paintings are beautiful and very soothing to look at. We will definitely recommend your place to anyone we know who plans to visit Rome in the future and we hope to see you again one day!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. We had been traveling for almost 2 weeks going from hotel to hotel and we were tired. We arrived at the apartment and Natalia, the owner was there to meet us. She escorted us into the apartment. It was very quaint and nicely decorated. Natalia and Valter had coffee and "the welcome breakfast" waiting for us. They took the time to review the sites of Rome with us and give us tips on sightseeing. The owners could not have been more helpful. We wanted to get some gold jewelry while we were there and she told us where to go and found some great buys!! The owners also arranged for a cab to take us to the airport on our departure date. The apartment is very clean and nicely decorated. When we came home from a long day of sightseeing, it felt like we were home. The apartment is located within a few feet of the Metro which was very convenient. The Forum and Coliseum and numerous restaurants are only a short distance away. We truly enjoyed our stay here!!! The owners were outstanding and the apartment was wonderful. We hope to stay there on future trips to Rome.

Staying in one of Natalia and Walter's properties is like having friends with exquisite taste let you stay in their home while they are away (But not too far away. You can be sure that Natalia and Walter will be there and go to extraordinary lengths to make sure your stay is carefree.) The apartment is as beautiful as it looks on the Dolce Roma website. It is full of personal touches and blissfully quiet. The Monti neighborhood is both lively and safe. It feels like the "real Rome" -- not overrun with tourists. There are reasonably priced restaurants, cafes, and food shops nearby. Transportation is great. Walter and Natalia will give you the insider information you need to feel at home and make the most of your time in their city. The sixteen days my husband and I spent in their Roman Forum apartment were a highlight of our trip to Italy. We are already planning our return.

Bob and I had a wonderful time in Rome thanks to your warm hospitality and helpful suggestion, and the location and ambiance of your apartment. We loved our comfortable stay at this apartment - it was so personalized, unlike a hotel room. Natalia arranged transportation for us both arriving and departing, which truly made it hassle free, and she went over everything with us when we got there, which was very helpful, especially the restaurant recommendations. The location was perfect and we walked a good part of the city. When we were tired, we could just hop on the metro and we were literally within minutes of our place. It was very quiet and off the beaten track for the typical tourist, but close to shopping and eating. Thank you Walter and Natalia and we hope to be back!

Dear Natalia Mille grazie for renting this lovely apartment. We had a wonderful time in Rome. It was the first trip for my 14 th year old son, and what a great experience to have a change to live as the Romans do. Of course the location was perfect and we enjoyed all the typical sights: Colosseo, Fori Romani, Pantheon. But the most lasting memory we will have is of the Italians celebrating their world cup win over Australia. Young people singing, chanting, running and driving through the streets waving the Italian flag. VIVA ITALIA!

Dear Natalia and Walter, What a wonder time we have had staying in this apartment! We found this apartment on the internet and based on the photos and the description the decided to book it. Any fears we had were put the rest as soon as we opened the door. The apartment is just as was described - even nicer I think. It is so clean, so cozy, so nicely decorated - we felt right at home - much nicer than staying in a hotel room. We loved been so close to the metro and having many shops and restaurants close by. We tried many of the restaurants you recommended. Walter - very special thanks for taking the time so very late at night to make sure we felt welcome and to explain the neighbourhood and which sights we should visit. Thanks too for supplying us with a cel phone. Well, I guess you can tell we had a fabulous holiday in your wonderful city and if you ever decide to visit Vancouver British Columbia Canada (winter Olympics 2010) we'd be pleased to be your hosts. Thank you
