With a perfect location on a quiet street in the center of Rome, this flat puts you within a 10 minute walk to most of the major sites. Located equidistance between Piazza Farnese, Trastevere center, and the Vatican, you won't believe how quaint this old artists' neighborhood can be. Since the 60's this has been the international artist community's base in Rome. There are numerous galleries and both former and current residents of some stature in the art world. The apartment is just across the ponte mazzini from the centro storico and to the north of the main square in the Trastevere neighborhood, so there is no shortage of things to do within easy walking distance. But it is also surprisingly quiet and cool. There is little car traffic on this dead-end, cobblestone street.
The apartment has a long entrance hall that ends in a double sized living room with fireplace and a dining room table for 8. The living room contains a sofa and 2 comfortable chairs. There are three bedrooms. One in a master suite with queen-sized bed, and private bathroom with standing shower. The second has a queen-sized bed, and the last has two twins. There is a second bathroom with shower and tub for the other two bedrooms. The kitchen has plenty of work space, a new dishwasher and best of all, a balcony with plenty of herbs and a cafe table. The best feature of this apartment is its full roof terrace. About 1000 square feet of beautiful outdoor space, with plenty of shade at all times of day and lovely plants that will bloom most of the summer. There is plenty of outdoor furniture for dining and lounging.
The flat is 2 flights up (3rd floor) with no elevator and includes a washer and dryer, 4 ceiling fans, air conditioning, and heat.
