The name says it all as this house as one of the most grand views you can ask for as it sits on top of the mountain. YOu can see for miles and miles away from all over, especially from the 3rd story balcony, where you can see Brass Town Ball.
A great mountain top place to get away in the fall and look at the turning leaves in the fall. In the back you face Pink Mountain and Yonah Mountain and can view the leaves the rock side of mountain clearly. We also make this a great place to enjoy as we have the house full of amenities like you would not believe.
This house is a 5000 SF mountain top get away, on a private paved road access, which has been designed to have something for almost everyone. We even have a extra large 24 x 24 garage parking available. We have finishing renovations, making the place look even more wonderful, with fresh paint, new carpet, finishing of the 3rd story balcony(where 2 bedrooms have doors to walk out on), finishing sunroom, and tiki bar area. This house is set up for the best entertainment and relaxing experience possible. The pool and play area are tucked away in the back for privacy while here. On top of this mountain you have a panoramic view that allows you to see for miles and miles away on all sides. During the evening you can stand out on the elevated decks , or the 3rd story balcony, or by the pool side and see the night skyline of cities of Clarkesville, Cornelia, Commerce, Toccoa, and more. bring your telescope for great star gazing opprotunity as you can look at the Moon, Venus and also see Jupiter in the dark clear night skies. You can also go out in the front porch area and watch an amazing sunset. During the morning you can sit out on the sunroom, balcony, or elevated deck and watch the sunrise come up out over the Carolinas.
On the outside you have many many things to enjoy from the, custom built playground with tunnel slide, the (heated*) swimming pool, hot tub, outside covered tiki bar area with 2 TV’s, there is also a stereo system with speakers at the bar and around the pool where you can plug in your iPod or mp3, or play one of the CDs we have available with 100's of songs so you can listen to the music either at around the pool or at the tiki bar or patio area. There is also a broiler and a gas, charcoal, and smoker grill available, there is are shaded patio area as well as sunny patio area to sit in, also there is a large swing to enjoy as you look out over the mountains as it faces Yonah Mountain. We also have outside games for you to enjoy and you can also bring your own as there are 2 different levels of flat back yard to play in. We have installed mood lights in the pool and around the patio and bar area to make it relaxing during the evening time. During the summer the pool areas provides one of the best places to layout and get a great tan as the sun beams down on the South East side of mountain. We also have plenty of beach towels for the pool.
On the inside we have made it where you have everything you can imagine available to you. In the basement we have a large game room area with pool table, ping pong, dual basket ball game, darts, foosball, and air hockey. The basement has a projector TV with 100” screen that is hooked up to a surround sound system, DVD players, cable TV, Xbox, and Wii. You can even hook your laptop up so you can show family slide shows or movies. We even supply a video camera for use if you would like to remember your stay. We have hundreds of DVD’s which are recent and sometimes new releases. The Wii has many attachments from rifles, fishing pole, baseball bat, golf club, and tennis rackets, to exercise pad, 4 controllers, and many games. In addition the basement has an additional stocked kitchen area (with nice plastic ware to use around pool and patio area).
In the remainder of the house we have another fully stocked kitchen on the main level, with pots, pans, griddle, waffle iron, food processor, blenders, serving trays, and much much more to cook your favorite meals and serve guest with. There is a nice formal dinning room w/china and china cabinet, breakfast room, sunroom, and a great room area with TV and surround sound system. There is a master suite that has fine linen and a master bath with its own Jacuzzi, large bath towels, and spa supplies available. You also have a utility room with washer and dryer available. In addition there is garage parking for 2 cars. Upstairs we have 4 additional bedrooms, where 2 have there own 3rd story walk out balcony, and an office area with a desk, computer, internet (wireless and hard wired), and HP7300 all in one printer/scanner available for use.
As you can see this house has many extras you can’t find elsewhere and at the same time it is centrally located near Helen (12mi), Clarkesville, Cornelia, and Dahlonega.
WHAT A GREAT DEAL WHEN YOU LOOK AT GETTING A LUXURY HOME ON TOP OF A MOUNTAIN, WITH ALL THE AMENTITIES LISTED AND A BREATH TAKING VIEW. SIX COUPLES CAN STAY FOR LESS THAN $85 PER COUPLE / PER NIGHT DURING 7 DAY LONG VACATIONS.

- This retreat has everything you could dream to do from swimming, to sitting out and enjoying the view, to having a awesome family gathering. The house also has a formal dinning room, and another kitchen in the basement. Both kitchens are loaded with everything you need to prepare meals of all kinds.
Rate Details (In US Dollars)
$495+tax/night w/2 night minimum except holiday weekends where it is a
a 3 night minimum. Rent 7 days pay for 6 and get the 7th free.
There is also a $150 clean up charge when you leave and a $20 processing fee.
To heat the pool during the winter is an extra cost, as propane gauge is read to
determine cost. We can have pool heated before you arrive if needed.
We do also have a 5 day minimum rental for Thanksgiving and Christmas

We are from the area and love to travel ourselves. We have stayed at vacation rentals before during our travels and that is what led us to do this. I built this house and help design it so that it has every thing I wanted to do in one spot.
Why the Owner Chose Helen
Being from the area I chose this locatation as it is centrally located to the many attractions in the area and the area is very quiet. Also this was the best view lot I found, with the easiest access, as I looked at every lot I could find in the area for over 2 years. I found this lot and found a way to make it where I was ontop of a mountain and was also able to make it where I had a front and back yard for the kids to play in.
The Unique Benefits of this House
This is such an awesome get away as it it quiet and the view is one of the best, if not the best, in the county. We just love sitting at night and looking over the skyline and seeing the lights of the faraway cities. The full moon nights are just completely breath taking. On the weekends we enjoy being entertained by the airplanes as they fly over, every now and then sometimes we even get military aircraft that zoom by in training. My wife loves being able to get a great tan at the pool side, while enjoying the peace and quiet of the area.
