Ocean sounds and steady trade wind breezes cool and invigorate in the day and lull to sleep at night. Two minute walk to the ocean beach for a morning dip. Walk to restaurants, bars and small hotels on beachfront. Drive to many more distant restaurants - local dishes, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, and New York/Provincetown fare - seafood hamburgers. Meet the fishing boats at 10 am by ferry dock in Isabele for fresh seafood. Car necessary (rental available) to get to pristine mile long beaches on the southern Caribbean coast--coral sand, blue waters perfect for children. Swimming, snorkeling, sit and read with long beach walks between dips. Bach chairs, cooler, masks and flippers provided.
