Comfortable family home along bike path at the base of Mt. Alyeska Ski Resort, in Girdwood, only 30 minutes south of Anchorage along majestic Turnagain Arm.
Girdwood offers a bounty of both winter and summer activities, from downhill and cross-country skiing in winter to hiking and biking in the summer.
Our home is designed for family relaxation. The newly-remodeled upstairs includes four bedrooms, TV room, and full bath. One of the larger bedrooms also provides entertainment with a foosball table. Downstairs includes a kitchen, dining room, living room, full bath, and washer/dryer. The front of the house includes a large covered deck that captures the warmth of the southern sun.
Local sightseeing includes riding the Mt. Alyeska tram to view all seven glaciers of the Girdwood Valley, and visiting nearby Portage Glacier and its Visitor's Center, Crow Creek Mine, Chugach National Forest, Prince William Sound, and the museums and shopping of Anchorage.

This home was perfect! Very clean and nicely kept. Close to chair 3/Sitzmark, with in walking distance to most places in Girdwood. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep with comfortable beds. I would stay here again next time I visit Girdwood.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The property is perfect for a large group up to 10 people. Located within a block of the Alyeska Resort Day Lodge and on the main corridor through Girdwood. The owners were easy and accomodating even though they actually lived in Homer a few hundred miles away. We would definitely rent this again!
