MEMORIES LAST FOREVER. CREATE SOME WONDERFUL MEMORIES IN PARIS. THIS APARTMENT WAS FEATURED IN THE NY TIMES AND INTL HERALD TRIBUNE. You'll love this stunning apartment inspired by Versailles. Central Air Conditioning! Open the front door and you'll feel you're in a luxurious five star hotel with all the comforts of home. Children nine years and older are welcome. This spectacular location gives you the BEST of St. Germain des Pres on the Left Bank and the BEST of the Right Bank across the bridge. Awesomely located on a lovely residential street and near the hot spots of the 6th and 7th arrondissements.
Paris sparkles all around you with the Musee D'Orsay and St. Germain des Pres and cafes Flore and Deux Magots a few blocks away. You'll step out the building, cross the famous Blvd. St. Germain, to the Pont de la Concorde bridge to the Louvre, the Champs Elysees and fabled shops of the Place Vendome.
The elevator whisks you to the 4th floor where you open the shiny, lacquered blue door to your own fully renovated and exquisitely decorated 750 square foot apartment in this charming 19th century apartment updated with central air conditioning, the newest appliances and the best of modern American conveniences. Notice the magical light of Paris pouring through the floor to ceiling French windows.
Step into your 2 Bedroom, 2 1/2 bath Paris home and immediately feel welcomed into refinement and elegance. Experience the convenience and privacy, so unlike a commercial hotel open to the bustling hordes.
Your apartment easily and comfortably accommodates up to 4 people. There are 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a powder room.
We tried to think of everything to make guests feel comfortable and coddled. In the Versailles blue bedroom, your queen sized bed offers the most comfortable mattress in France, the Imperial Airspring, luxurious Yves Delorme linens, gold chandelier, and a view overlooking the leafy green trees and gray Mansart rooftops of the Boulevard Saint-Germain. The silk drapes are lined with black-out curtains for a restful sleep. There is an en suite tiled Provencal bathroom with double sinks, a shower/tub and a personally controlled heated towel rack for your warmth and comfort.
In the second, Chinese yellow bedroom, there are two twin beds, with Imperial Airspring mattresses as comfortable as the blue bedroom or even more so. The twins can be “zipped” together, a fluffy mattress cover thrown across, ensuring the two to become one super comfortable queen sized bed. This bedroom overlooks the quiet courtyard of the building. The “Ecole Chinoise”, Chinese inspired drapes are copies of an 18th century Venetian design, also backed with black-out curtains. There is a spacious Louis XVI style desk on which to work.
In the living room, with its original parquet floors, the pale yellow walls are graced with French paintings and engravings of scenes from Versailles. The 12-foot ceiling boasts a 12 light chandelier, the blue and gold silk brocade drapes are tied back with silk cords. The living room is elegantly furnished with authentic French antiques and custom made pieces in the Louis XV and Louis XVI style. The oval dining table can accommodate a large dinner party with two extensions. There is a 32 inch flat screen Sony TV sitting atop an antique 19th century commode with over 500 channels including CNN, BBC and other English language stations. In addition, there is a DVD player which plays US and all types of DVD’s. Freebox provides WiFi internet service and free international calling on the three phones.
No expense was spared in the fully equipped, French country kitchen with dishwasher, range top, refrigerator/freezer, oven and microwave, all newly installed and fresh. A full set of dinnerware, glasses, wine glasses, utensils, wine cooler, platter, soup tureen, French linen place mats and napkins, cookware, all you could need are provided.
For your convenience, a fully tiled laundry cabinet has a washer and separate large capacity dryer.
The second, Portuguese tiled bathroom, has a real American-style shower with another white tiled and mirrored guest bathroom in the entry.
Outside the living room and the blue bedroom, your view overlooks the leafy trees of bustling Boulevard Saint Germain, yet still feels peaceful and quiet inside double paned French windows.
There are 2 cozy Parisian cafés at the corner and the chic Le Bourbon and Michelin-rated Tante Marguerite restaurants steps away at the Place Palais de Bourbon. The famous Gosselin bakery is just one block away for fresh croissants with your coffee every morning. Dash across the street to the greengrocer on the rue de Courty or walk to several large supermarkets close by.
For any questions during your stay or trouble shooting, there is a managing agent whose phone number you will have. The agent will meet you upon arrival with keys and give you a thorough orientation of the apartment.
Transportation couldn’t be easier or more convenient. The Assemblee National Metro stop is right downstairs and the bus stop with buses to all the major attractions sits right in front of the apartment building as well. A taxi stand is one and a half blocks away near the Musee D’Orsay.
You can easily walk to the famous sites of the Left Bank such as the Saint-Germain des Pres area, the Musee D’Orsay and the Invalides. Around the corner, the entire Right Bank is also at your feet across the short pont de la Concorde bridge, spanning the romantic Seine River, a quick stroll to the Place de la Concorde, the Louvre and the Champs Elysees. We hope you will come once and come back many times to your home away from home on the Boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris.

We just spent 8 days in this gorgeous flat. We are frequent Paris travelers and vacation property owners ourselves. This is a lovely apartment. It's been handsomely renovated, luxuriously decorated and full of thoughtful amenities. It is not furnished with 'hand me downs' from primary residences as is so common in vacation properties. Instead, it is outfitted with top notch details. Taught me a thing or two about my own vacation properties that I rent out! The beds are fantastic as are the linens and the list goes on (dishware, glassware etc.) The location can't be beat with a Metro subway stop steps away. Plus, the owners were a pleasure to deal with and the Paris property manager was wonderful (fluent English speaker). Thank You!
Owner response:Thank you so much! So glad to have such a wonderful rave review. It was our goal that guests feel like this was their own Paris apartment while they're in Paris. Debra and Bill

My husband & I stayed here for 6 days & loved every minute of it! The apartment is lovely, the beds comfortable, the appliances easy to use. It was such a pleasure to have 2 bathrooms! and the "American" shower ws great. Staying here saved us money too. We made breakfast every day, enjoyed wine, cheese at night. We even made dinner here 1 night after spending all day walking the City. We loved having a place that was large enough to spread out in. I highly recommend this apartment. The furnshings were lovely, the location excellent, very convenient to the metro & RER trains, as well as walking to many Museums & shops. If I'm lucky enough to go to Paris again, I will definately see if this place is available.

Dear Bill and Debra, Please let us tell you how very much we enjoyed your superb apartment this week. Everything was immaculate and exactly how you described. Mary was great introducing us to everything in the apartment. The location was perfect and we really enjoyed exploring the neighborhood, from the fun shopping at the market to dinner at Le Bourbon. Our visit was very much what we hoped it would be and having your apartment from which to base was a true highlight. Thank you for sharing this special place with us

This apartment was perfect for our family, including two teens. We made breakfast in the full kitchen every morning and even prepared dinner in the apartment a couple of nights during our nearly weeklong stay. We appreciated the special touches, such as fresh flowers on the table, a bottle of champagne in the fridge and a welcome-to-the-apartment tour on our first day. We also appreciated the red book, full of detail not only about the apartment, but local restaurants, shops, etc. GREAT location, too, about a block and a half from the Seine. On a walk on our last night, we stood on the bridge, looking toward Notre Dame. Turning to look over our right shoulders, we gazed at the Eiffel Tower. It doesn't get much better than that. All in all, the owners clearly have put in a lot of effort into anticipate their guests' needs. They haven't missed a thing.

Thank you. We had a great time in Paris and celebrated my daughter's sixteenth birthday there. The apartment was like a dream. so comfortable and all the charming touches and comfortable conveniences. We will go back and stay next visit. The only suggestion is to get a different toaster. This one didn't stay down sometimes when you push the lever. But maybe I just didn't use it right. Otherwise, LOVED it.
