Lovely stay on Stinson Beach

Our family stayed in this extremely spacious and comfortable beach house for 5 nights in July/August. It was just a short half block from the beach. The owner, Eric, was very pleasant to work with - the first night we noticed the showerhead was leaking and by the next morning (on a Sunday!) a genial workman came by and fixed it. Great service! We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, which had all the amenities. There was a long, antique table with benches in the adjacent dining room. We loved the upstairs great room that had an adjoining deck with great views. There's also a large deck that extends around the outside of the house which our children loved playing on. The beds were very comfortable and it was quiet at night, just the gentle sounds of the waves. We are looking forward to staying here again - thank you, Eric.

We had a wonderful beach vacation at this beautiful house at Stinson Beach. The house is perfectly situated with a top deck view of the ocean but with the privacy of being off the beach a few steps down the lane. One afternoon we watched a couple of porpoises playing in the ocean while we enjoyed our lunch on the top deck of the house. It is a lovely but cozy home, well furnished and equipped for our family of five to enjoy the beach or just hang out at the house. It was fun to have the market and the ice cream shop just a short walk down the road. We also enjoyed a visit to Muir Woods one afternoon and stopped for a picnic at the Muir Beach Overlook on the way. Both were beautiful and well worth the short trip down the road. This house is the perfect place to enjoy family time, beautiful scenery and long walks on the beach; although we also appreciated the convenience of the wireless internet. The owner was very accommodating and very nice to work with. We would definitely rent this house again if our travels take us back to Stinson Beach.

I love visiting this house with family and friends. It is beautiful, clean, and comfortable with gorgeous ocean views and wonderful star gazing at night. There is plenty of room to hang out together or to spread out and relax: watching the waves from the upper deck, curled up with a book on a window seat, hanging out with the kids on the backyard deck. Plus, it is just steps to the beach and a very short walk into town, so there's no need to drive anywhere (unless you want to check out Muir Woods or Point Reyes). You can hear the waves as you fall asleep. It is a perfect escape with all the comforts of home.

Great beach house, with everything you need in a fantastic location! We had a blast and didn't have to get in the car once, the kids loved being able to wonder to the beach while we sat on the deck watching them. Will be recommending it and staying in the future. Thanks!

Had a great weekend in May with my family in this lovely home. Accommodations exceeds internet description, more charming and very private. The cottage is well equipped, very comfortable for entire family. We loved roof deck breakfast and ocean views. The beach is only steps away. We are definitely coming back.

Stayed for a weekend with 2 daughters. Loved everything about it. Just a few house from the beach and can easily walk to town for a quick meal. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Can't imagine a better rental for the price.

Stayed here in August 2010 with my teenage son, and we had a great time. Couldn't be better located - just a couple of houses from the beach and ~5 minute walk into town for restaurants. House is in very good condition and is a really pleasant place to hang out, especially on the large second floor deck. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.
