There is obvious pride of ownership in this fantastic mountian cabin. The ambience is terrific and the owners have done everything to enhance the mountain experience. You feel right at home the minute you walk in. The cabin is well supplied, down to wood for the fireplace, sleds, kitchenware, barbeque, and essentials. And the keyless entry really helps simplify things. Great proxmiity to Snow Summit skiing. We will definitely return and highly recommend Bearlagio!

Early Season Snow, Wow!

We headed to this excellent mountain cabin for some family togetherness and R&R. We were delighted to find a cabin that was roomy, clean, well equipped and close to everything! The cabin has everything there you can think of there for use including snow sleds for the kids. We got early season snow and were able to snowboard 2 days at Snow Summit (which is within walking distance if you are not lazy like us, ha ha). We would highly recommend this cabin to others and have already to our friends. We hope to return again in the future as we had such a great time!

Amazing family summer vacation at Bearlagio!!!

What a beautiful property!!! We had an amazing time at Bearlagio for our family summer vacation! The cabin was centrally located to all of our daily hikes and adventures on the lake. We loved coming home to the cabin, the decor suited the mountain atmosphere perfectly and was well kept. It supplied everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the wi-fi and jacuzzi! The jacuzzi was my favorite amenity and the perfect ending to the day! I highly recommend Bearlagio for your next Big Bear vacation!

Cozy and Comfortable Mountain Retreat

Our group of 4 adults and 4 children spent 4 wonderful nights at Bearlagio. The cabin was very clean and well taken care of. The kitchen had all the amenities needed for preparing our meals each day. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace and the on-deck jacuzzi. The kids loved sleeping in the loft and enjoyed watching the snow fall through the beautiful A-frame windows. Bearlagio was close enough for us to walk to and from Snow Summit and close to shopping and dining in the village. Marty was extremely helpful in providing information about the cabin and the surrounding area as well as directions and weather/road updates. This was one of the best Spring Breaks we have spent together! We will certainly return for another family getaway. Bearlagio was definitely a home away from home.

What a wonderful cabin. Its big enough for 6-8 people, yet cozy. The amenities and decoration is great -- very upscale yet feels like a "mountain cabin." Fantastic wrap around porch. Close to snow summit but off the beaten path. Great layout for kids and nice yard. A+. We will stay here again for sure

Marty, We had an amazing time at your cabin! Bearlagio was simply amazing and the weather was perfect! Your pictures do not do it justice, absolutely GORGEOUS! Found a few local "sledding hills" in nearby neighborhoods, but the one in the backyard was nice, clean, and had "fresh" snow, kids played while adults bbq'd and relaxed in jacuzzi :) Foosball table was a great hit with the boys, they had so much fun with it. Everyone felt right at home, it was sooo comfy and cozy, esp. w/ the fireplace going! We were talking about coming back during summer for another relaxing and fun getaway. Thank you so much!

Big Bear Cabin during the holidays

Our stay could not have been more perfect. The cabin was very clean and had everything we could want including enough wood to keep the beautiful fireplace going. The kitchen has everything you could want to use as well. The owner really made us feel at home, even emailing us a list of favorite restaurants, which were terrific, and the best sledding spots. Also, he called a day before we were leaving Big Bear to make sure we knew how to get home, since they way we came was closed due to snow. We felt like we were staying at a friend's house. We will certainly be back.

Our young family had one of the most memorable experience in Big Bear. All the outdoor activities we enjoyed made Big Bear an awesome wonderland. However, I feel, a huge part of why we had such a memorable time was being able to enjoy the beauty and relaxing environment cabin Bearlagio provided. I feel somewhat reluctant in providing my recommendation for cabin Bearlagio due to the concern I may find it more difficult in renting it in the future. But being the kind of person who values sharing valuable info. with others, I feel more so inclined. A good illustration of what the cabin looks like is done well by the cabin's website. So I'd like to just give our sincerest thanks from our family to the cabin's owner for making the process of renting bearlagio very comfortable and easy. Most of all, for making cabin bearlagio available for vacationers. It's truly a gorgeous cabin that has furnishings intelligently laid out, and is tastefully decorated. The Navarro Family

Absolutely complete facility. Everything you would expect as a plus is found here. The owner cares about your comfort and convenience by having everything on hand. An ideal place for a winter getaway, as well as a comfortable and quiet retreat for the rest of the year. Worth every dollar spent.

The Bearlagio Cabin was perfect. Snow Summit mountain is a short walk from the house. There's a nice fireplace with plenty of firewood and a loft above to tuck away and read a book. The owner Marty was very helpful. We'd definitely return!

We stayed two nights and got 5" of snow. The cabin was very toasty and we had the fireplace burning the moment we walked in. Very spacious floor plan, plenty of beds for everyone. The cabin was very clean and neat, like a five star hotel. We enjoyed every minute and would definately do it again!

The Bearlagio was everything it was advertised to be only much more. It is more like a mini lodge than a cabin. Decorated perfectly and tastefully for the mountains. It has every convenience. The cabin is extremely organized and comfortable. We spent more time in the cabin than originally planned as it was so nice and has a wonderfully equipped kithen. The location is beautiful and close to everything but not too close. We also found the cabin to be very clean and the people you deal with are not only professional but very nice as well. We can't wait until our next trip to Bearlagio.

We had a great long weekend! it is a perfect get away. everything in the cabin (Bearlagio) is new, clean, cozy and comfortable. It is a home away from home. We are looking forward to booking our ski vacation there. We went on the water slide, go carts, sled ride, biking, went up to the top of CastleRock, and rented a boating. Action packed and a lot of fun.

We love your cabin. The windows looking out to the pines the wrap around deck, and the warmth that the inside gives us makes us feel very comfortable. Bearlagio has to be the best cabin we have ever stayed at in Big Bear. I highly recommend Bearlagio to anyone who wants an upscale cabin close to the slopes and shopping. We LOVED the cabin. It was so cozy and had everything you could want in it. It was located in the middle of Big Bear and central to everything, and just 1 block from Snow Summit! We had an amazing summer vacation with tons of things to do: hike, sky ride, rent a boat, animal park, water slides, golf, and just plain relax. We would highly recommend!

This is by far the nicest vacation home we have stayed in, in the Big Bear area. Close to Summit and Bear Mountain for skiing and boarding, close to the village and shopping. The house itself has everything you could possibly need, it is cozy, with all the modern amenities. The kids loved it too, and there is room for everyone to feel comfortable. I recommend this to anyone looking for the perfect place to stay in Big Bear.

My friends and I went up to Big Bear to celebrate Octoberfest. We arrived at Bearlagio and couldn't believe what we saw. The cabin is huge, super clean and nicely decorated. It also has a large fireplace in the family room and a fooseball table upstairs in the loft so it is perfect for a group that is ready to relax and have some fun! We had a group of 8 people and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably and to have some privacy. I would highly recommend Bearlagio. It is perfect for families and adults who want to have a large, comfortable, well-maintained cabin to call their home on their vacation. My friends and I will definitely be back!

My family stayed at Bearlagio and really loved it! The kitchen is well appointed and there the 3 bedrooms and the loft provide ample and comfortable accommodations. The walk to Snow Summit was easy. We had much fun playing in the snow around the picnic table and on the deck. The yard is beautiful.

When you think of a cozy, log cabin in the mountains - this is the dream! It is so beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and well kept. The owner is friendly and very helpful. We loved the large, warm fireplace and had it on often! Plenty of beds for the 8 of us. It is so close to Snow Summit resort. We walked home from skiing one day! We recommend this cabin highly and dfinitely want to come back ourselves!

This place is REALLY nice! We were there for three days in late January. It's every bit as large as it looks in the photos on the website. This stylish "cabin" easily accommodated six adults and two kids, and had everything we needed. The ladies in our party used the word "comfortable" -- among several other very positive adjectives - - to describe the whole place. It was great being so close to the "Summit." If you bring all your food and libations with you, you won't have to leave the premises, except to ski! Our stay was such a pleasure that some of us are already planning to come back during the summer. Marty was very easy to deal with, too. go there......you'll have fun.

Bearlagio was so very warm and inviting. Our family loved our stay here! The owners take great care in providing the smallest of details that add greatly to creating an environment that feels like a home. There was so much that I appreciated about this lovely cabin! It is modern, well equipted, they provided blankets and games galore. The pictures on the website are good, but once you walk into this beautiful cabin you will be overjoyed with your choice as were we! It is obvious that the owners take great pride...and joy in creating a loving space for all those who visit.
