- Pet Friendly : Well-behaved pets may be allowed, on an exception basis ($50 charge per pet). We love dogs, and have 2 wonderful, eccentric standard Schnauzers.
- Not Suitable for Children : Our house is part of an active adult community, so there aren't a lot of child-friendly resources on-site. But Annadel Park is nearby.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters : One renter must be at least 55.
- Smoking Not Allowed : Smoking ok outside, as long as all ashes, butts, matches, etc. are cleaned up and removed prior to departure. No smoking debris allowed inside, even to put into the trash.

We returned home last night from your Valley Lakes homes in Oakmont, and still having wonderful memories of our trip. Your home was just perfect for all of our needs and many compliments on the furnishings and cleanliness. You supplied the home with every possible need, even down to the picnic basket. The best part was sitting out on the patio in the evenings looking at the stars and listening to the wildlife around us. We loved watching the deer on the golf course, and had fun pointing out where balls landed to the golfers, especially when they hit the tree. Your proximity to so many wineries is wonderful, and the beautiful backroads drive to Jack London State Park is the best. We were here for a wedding at Horsetale Vineyards up the street on Lawndale, and they are recommending Valley Lakes to some friends visiting from out of town next year! Thank you for your hospitality and we look forward to staying there again.

The weather was perfect, the restaurant fare was worth every calorie, and the wine tours were informative and delicious. But, what really made this one of our best summers ever, was the home on Valley Lakes. It was all we had hoped for, and more. We can only assume the owners imagined themselves as renters and then proceeded to stock the home with every imaginable high-end item they would use themselves. It truly felt simultaneously like a luxury resort and your own home. Magical. Perfect. We can hardly wait to return. Also, the home is beautifully located for taking advantage of all that Napa and Sonoma have to offer (not to mention Bodega Bay, the Russian River and, of course, that city by the bay). Our only complaint: We had to leave! We're keeping our fingers crossed that it will be available again next year. Did we remember to mention the wonderful golf course view?

We enjoyed our stay at Valley Lakes. The property was so relaxing, clean, well maintained, and also situated in a wonderful community. The appearance of the home is exactly as seen and all the amenities. Everything was accessable within a short driving distance. Wayne and Julie were extremely helpful and very nice, made sure our comforts were met. Can't wait to visit again and the patio overlooking the golf course is calling us again, the golf course is unbeliveable (the best)! What you see is what you get at Valley Lakes. It was a clean comfortable home in a quiet location, perfect for retirees. The best recommendation I can give is that we are returning again next year for a longer stay.
