The Valley Lakes House: Elegant Wine Country Lodging
Come Stay at Our Valley Lakes House at the Northern Tip of Sonoma’s Valley of the Moon, Where Kenwood and Santa Rosa Meet. Sonoma County Has So Much to Enjoy. Whether You're Planning on Exploring Our Natural Beauty, Our Welcoming Wineries, or the Shopping Around Sonoma and Healdsburg Plazas -- Valley Lakes House Puts it All Within Easy Reach.
This Elegant, Newly-Remodeled, and Professionally-Decorated House Lies Back from the 17th Fairway of Oakmont Village’s Valley Lakes Golf Course. From the Patio, You Have an Almost 180-Degree View of the Fairway, Separated by a Slow-Moving Creek with Duck Families Lazily Plying the Water, and Even an Occasional Snowy Egret. Rabbits and Deer Graze Across the Fairway at Twilight. Just Beyond, Sonoma Mountain and Annadel State Park Beckon. Your Front Door Provides Easy Access to Hiking and Biking Trails of All Levels of Difficulty.
You'll Find 20 Wineries Within 10 Minutes’ Drive, and None of Sonoma County's 250+ Wineries Are More Than an Hour’s Drive Away. We Are Zinfandel Growers in the Valley, and Love to Recommend Some of Our Favorites. Having Worked in the Wine Industry, and Lived in Sonoma Valley for 15 Years, We Love its Neighborly Good Will, Not to Mention its Fine Wines.
When You Arrive at Valley Lakes House, You'll Find that it Breathes Lightness, with Open Access and Lovely Views in Almost Every Direction. The Living Room and Dining Room Overlook the Slate Patio, and the 17th Fairway Beyond the Creek. You'll Surely Want to Sample the Fine Local Restaurants, But when You Decide to Dine in, You'll Love Our Gourmet Kitchen with All the Tools and High-End Appliances You'll Need, Plus a Prep Island with Plenty of Space for Those “Assistant Chefs”.
Our Dining Room Seats 6 Adults Comfortably. Or Choose the Cozy Breakfast Room with its Own Window on Nature’s Bounty Outside. Pretty Dishes and Linens Will Make You Feel at Home. And of Course, There’s the Gas Grill If You Feel Like Cooking Outdoors.
Have Breakfast, Lunch, Cocktails, or Dinner on the Patio. Inside, Enjoy Your Favorite Movies or Shows on the Flat Screen TV with DVD Player. A Separate Office/Library Gives You the Space and Privacy You Need to Spread Out Your Reading Matter, Browse the Web, Send Emails, or Do that Little Catch-up Work that You Couldn't Leave Behind. Or Just Gaze Out the Window at the Neighboring Peaks of Hood Mountain.
In Our Master and Guest Bedrooms, Luxuriate in the High Thread-Count Sheets, Down Comforters with Duvets, and Down Pillows. You'll Find Fragrant Soaps and Terry-Cloth Robes for Your Indulgence. Bathe According to Mood: in the Large Travertine Walk-in Shower or the Jacuzzi Tub/Shower Combination.
However You've Spent the Day – Wine tasting, Golfing, Hiking, or Shopping Around the Plaza in Sonoma or Healdsburg – Our Valley Lakes House Will Pamper You and Welcome You Home.
